Allmost A Saab — Very competent stealth wagon with lots of cargo and people space/ trips in bad weather to PA are secure on roads that are untreated in winter/ basically an AUDI all wheel drive system that VW discontinued because it was really a bargain/ very reliable if maintained Brakes were good for 80 K miles before replacement in rear, 90K in front, needs front pads with the wear sensor. Timing belt replaced at ten year mark and performance is still good with 26 mpg on platinum plugs, even the Autolite plugs work as well as the OEM Audi NGK, Bosch not so much

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: turbo and awd

Cons: Use vw dealer just for oil changes and inspection  As they change service advisors they suggest repairs that sometimes aren't recommended by the mfr.

Great Car Especially W/awd For The Snow And Ice. — Great Styling, timeless given its age. Runs great with good fuel economy. Great braking and handles well with new tires. Also great visibility and cargo space with all the windows. perhaos tinting the rear windows would be a good improvement for the next owner.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Great car AWD, handled well with the new tires

Cons: None really. Car is very clean and in great condition for its age and mileage.

Awesome — Great car for speed and handling as well as safety. I didn't have to worry about my families safety when in this car. I would suggest this car to anyone with a family. Plenty of room for long trips and comfort.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Fast V6, leather seats and very roomy

Cons: A/C went out.........

Looks Clean, Get Alot Of Compliments From Other Dubers — Turbo upgrade added some real power. Sounds great when the wastegate releases. People have been asking what kind of blowoff valve it is but there is none. just powerful turbo.its expensive to upgrade your cars power lol. looks clean, get alot of compliments from other dubers

Pros: Turbo upgrade added some real power. Sounds great when the wastegate releases. People have been asking what kind of blowoff valve it is but there is none. just powerful turbo

Cons: its expensive to upgrade your cars power lol

Great Car For Everyday Use — Great car for everyday use. In my humble opinion this is the model where VW got most everything right. High quality appearance both inside and out, excellent quality, very spacious. Performance ok, very reliable. Not necessarily a fun car to drive, but that's not the intent.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Space, reliability, overall looks and quality

Cons: Nothing really

Performance And Realiabilty Is Great But Rest Assured This Car Puts The Fun Back In Driving. — VW Passat GLX 4 motion has been the best car for me. I love its performance and fun attitude. It has class and luxurious features. A true German built car with readability, safety, and performance that are hard to beat. Cost of ownership is very reasonable with 20-27 MPG for a V6 engine. No major service required other than Oil change and routine maintenance.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great car for any type of driver

Cons: Compact sedan

Graet Car For The Price — I love VW Passat 4 motion. It is great car that gives all the luxuries of more expensive cars live Volvo and Benz but with much more reasonable price tag. German engineered cars are legendary for their performance and reliability. You can not go wrong with VW passat. depending on your driving you can get 22/27 MPG.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fun and performance

Cons: Compact sedan
