It's A Great Car — I have been using this car as extra emergency car and I have not had any issues with it. It runs great and it's very powerful, spacious and the seats are very comfortable, despite of most of SUV, Honda Pilot has a very impressive acceleration.

Pros: spacious, very powerful

Cons: high mpg

Excellent — This is a very good all around vehicle. It can seat 7 adults semi comfortably for short trips. When using the 3rd row seats, storage is minimal. When traveling with 4-5 people, storage in the back is sufficient. Ours has held up very well and we have been happy with how it has performed.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Very good all around vehicle.

Cons: A little noisy when on highway.  (road noise from rear tires on road).

Excellent Family Vehicle — Very reliable. Nothing but scheduled maintenance needed. Full maintenance records available on request. Lots of storage space and leg room. We also added running boards to make it easier to get kids in and out of vehicle and a bull bar for safety.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Very reliable vehicle.  Good visibility for driver.

Cons: Gas mileage is good but not great.

My First Suv — me and my gramps got this lovely beast when my Thunderbird fell apart. i honestly wanted a Ridgeline but seeing as this was cheaper i decided to get this. after owning it for 6 months, it has grown on me. i use it every day for all sorts of reasons. groceries, emergency response, long distance travel, ect. overall, its a fantastic vehicle for whatever you need it for.

Pros: lots of room. seats 8 people total. able to haul large pieces of lumber in the back with the rear and center seats folded down. love the heated seats. AWD is awesome. gets great MPG for an SUV.

Cons: engine could be more powerful and the radio could have a better cd player so it can play MP3's/

Comfortable — A great car to take on a family trip. It is extremely comfortable with enough room for a large family. It also has a lot of cargo space for long trips. It rides really smooth and quiet, even large bumps seem dull.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Huge interior space, extremely comfortable.  Drives really smooth and has great suspension.  Good towing power and takes off very fast.

Cons: Lower gas mileage

The Honda Suv — There is plenty of space in the Honda Pilot for carrying cargo and passengers. There are split-folding rear seats and even a hidden extra row in the back; just do not expect to put anything but a small toddler in these seats. The car is safe. It has front/side airbags, ABS, stability/traction control and on-demand 4WD that you will probably never use on the typical family commute. Not a bad choice if you need to go big.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: A big, nice looking Honda with a lot of space and amenities.

Cons: A big, bloated Honda that is a waste of space without at least 5 people on-board.

Great Resale Value, Reliable, Room For All My Kids, And Busts Through The Snow Great! — It has enough power to haul around a whole car load, it never needs repairs, and can beat a Northeast Ohio winter. At first it was hard going from Volkswagens to a Honda, but I love love love my Pilot!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: 4wd, lots of snow, enough said :)

Cons: If you're looking for the most exciting vehicle, this might not be it for you

Caveat Emptor — This car is a great family car, however it can have issues. I have had to do repairs on my 2004 Pilot so often that it has not been worth owning the car. It has 73K miles and already the dealer is telling me it needs a new transmission. What a lemon!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: It is roomy and seats 8 comfortably.

Cons: It has a blind spot where you can't see pedestrians crossing the street.

Love My Pilot! — What I love: Smooth driving, easy handling, car-like ride, Honda reliability, good looks, great A/C, love the heated seats, great options for rear seats, third row seats or cargo area, decent gas mileage, few blind spots for an SUV, great Sandstone dark gold color.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It's a Honda!

Cons: Rear window doesn't open separately from rear liftgate.
