It's nice, but not my first choice. It's a great first car and it is reliable. I never would've chosen this car but it was given to me for free so I enjoy having it. I would look for something with better gas mileage.Mar 17, 2013

The Ford Taurus had some years where Ford ignored it and quality and reliability were an issue. For 2004, this was not a problem as Ford started paying attention again. The SES has all the standard features for mid value sedans of that year. The 3.0 L engine is a little weak for a car this size but it is adequate. Just don't expect it to put you back in your seat if you hit the gas to get on the freeway. Ford doesn't seem to think people want or need second gear. I've noted several models over the years that did not have a second gear on the automatic gear selectors. I find a second gear in heavy traffic keeps the car from shifting constantly.Jul 15, 2012

performance is great handels, brakes, and accelerates well build quality is good but could be better cobalt coloring on both inside n outside same as a normal car yes it is very fun to drive and it includes a cd playerFeb 06, 2010
