Oh, it’s a very nice truck. I previously owned one. However, it would be even nicer if it had navigation and 4x4.Aug 23, 2025

Great vehicle. Own 2 of them. Both have electrical issues with the odometer and sometimes radios. Otherwise great vehicles.Jan 25, 2022

Enjoyable to drive to work, on the farm and on the highway. Extended cab provides good carbo capacity, along with 6.5 foot truck bed/liner. 4WD and Grappler tires won't disappoint. Rugged truck design with comfortable cabin seating and entertainment system. The best of both worlds.Jan 27, 2015

if youre looking to get a truck, you cant go wrong with a ford f150. i use it for work(plumber for 8 yrs) i load and beat it and keeps on going. i drive it roughly 1200 miles monthly. road bumps and dips? what bumps and dips??? easily pulls a small trailer with all my rooter machines...at the end of the day, it still serves as my going out truck and looks good enough to roll up at the club in.
strong acceleration, good transmission, i have a bed cover on mine keeps all my tools safe.
ive owned it for 2 yrs, got it with 140xxx. nearing the 200000 havent had any problems yet. i got lucky

This truck has been pretty awesome to me. I just past 100k miles in 2013 and it is still hard to beat this truck. It has all the room you can ask in a truck. There are only a few downfalls which include bed length and some electronics that tend to fail (I had a relay for remote lock/unlock fail, but no big deal - $20 bucks)Aug 04, 2014

I love my truck. Great towing capabilities and handles wonderfully. The V8 engine has plenty of get up and go. the gas mileage is 16-19 mpg. Wish it was a little better with the MPGs. Hope to sell my baby and get a more fuel efficient vehicle.Jun 25, 2014

Great truck! Would recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable vehicle!
If you want a reliable truck, you can't go wrong with a 2003 Ford F-150, mine had 33,000 miles when I bought it and its almost 150,000 miles with only a bearing in an alternator going bad and only changing tires, oil, and brakes!Jul 02, 2013

I didn't have this truck long. It was for my son but he lost his job. It hasn't been driven much since we bought it in January. Overall I'd say it's a great little truck with new brakes and new tires.Aug 28, 2012

Damn good truck. Plenty of power and handles well off-road. Sucks
down gas. Money pit, put thousands into repairs over the years. Good
looking stance with 2" of lift and 33" tires. Interior holds up real well for
the amount of abuse it goes through.Feb 28, 2012

Gas mileage sucks, but The rest of the truck is awsome!Color combo is what caught my eye when buying the truck (Blue/Silver). Has an awsome (level) box cover that is remote operational and only looses a little room for installation.Jan 22, 2011

I love my truck, I've had it almost 4 years and only had to have a new ujoint put on. I love that it sits up so high so i can see whats coming up. Has the 5.4L so it has the balls to get up and go when i need it to. 4X4 is great just turn the knob. Thats all I have to say about that.Oct 25, 2010

What can be said about the F-150 that
hasn't been said already? The last year
with the happy-face grille design does
everything well, from general commuting to
lumber yard runs to hauling overloaded
trailers cross-country. The standard 4.6L
V8 delivers acceptable performance and
nearly 20 mpg highway on 10% ethyl
regular, not too shabby for a V8. Interior
is comfortable and tight, the truck rides
like a car but takes speed bumps and curbs
without complaining. Repairs in 80K miles
have been tires and a coil-on-plug (COP)
failure, easy. Yes, I would buy it again.Aug 09, 2010

I like this truck, because do the duty at work and had a comfortable driving, maybe feels like old school car, but i like the truck driving, and the maintanence is cheap and easy, maybe i can work on it.

Rock solid truck. In 6 years never had any problems whatsoever! The down side is the fuel consumption is high, but it is a truck. These trucks can take it and keep going, tough and very reliable. Would I recommend this truck, you betcha!Nov 03, 2009

This truck has a 5.4 Liter V8 and hauls butt. Great
handling and breaking power. It has not needed many
repairs and will not need many for a long time. This
model's transmission also lasts about 300K miles. The
interior looks great and is comfy except for the rear
seats, but Im driving so it doesn't matter. Ok gas
milage. like 10-15mpg normally for me. Its lots of fun
to drive.Oct 27, 2009

I like that its 4 doors and plenty of room to spread out and relax on trips or just riding around. overall this truck has great power responce and the ability to run with the mustang on take off or keep up with the other traffic. unless your in a hurry and you get to run away from others . It's well made, and has never let me down. It's a good highway cruiser and has plenty of room for the family and my gear and will tow a trailer to boot. I'm sold on Ford Trucks, they're the best on the road. Aug 04, 2009

Its big its mean and it eats gas. I love the four wheel drive it has saved me from the snow and flash floods of new jersey. It is a great car to drive in moist and muddy conditions, i love it!Aug 04, 2009

It's the best truck our family has ever had. For example the only repair we have had to make on it is one alternator, and it was replaced at 175,000 miles. It's not a hot rod on the streets but it's still pretty crisp. I plan to drive it for my first car, unless a piano drops from a two story window. It has, and will, serve well, and I am thankful for that.Mar 28, 2009

I haven't ever driven other american built trucks (the only real kind) but I'm pretty sure its safe to say that Ford did an amazing job with this truck in 2003. Of course, if you are looking for ultimate, top of the line performance or a luxury class ride, you will be deceived. But if you are a young adult looking for a reliable car that can take a punch and keep on rolling with some pretty nice accelerations (for a truck may I remind you) and a beautiful, imposing sound (even though it only comes from a 5.4 L V6), this is your dream.
Also, I learned to love its color. At first I was kind of mad that I did not get a nice bright red truck, but I realised that with time, its better to have a more mellow color like this blue.
This truck is also great because it as great response to any sudden jerk you give the steering wheel.
Although you'll make a huge amount of noise when you take a right angle turn at more than 20 mph, the little g forces u get within this spacious cockpit makes you believe you are driving a sort of rally car on tarmac.
the build quality is solid, but it only has a couple tens of thousand of miles.
The interior is very comfortable for the driver and the passenger but the back seats are not very practical if you have tall passengers to put back there.Feb 26, 2009

Built ford tough baby! From factory this truck is awesome, but after you add on some extras this truck will really turn some heads. i would always recommend this truck if you want a truck that you can beat the hell out of and will still run for ever. Its not bad performance wise eitherSep 27, 2008

My second Ford f.150 I have ever owned and wouldnt think about going to anything else but a diesel possibly. My current 03; f150 has 150k, Brand new Bridgestone dueller REVOS and it rides very nice. The vibration is very miniscule. The soft tonneau cover comes in handy a lot. I have yet to pull anything with it but this winter I will be breaking it in towing at least one snowmobile every weekend, maybe more.Aug 31, 2008

I really like this truck. It's got a v-8 so it's got great towing and can really pick up and go. I really like the ease of control. The steering coloumn is really short, but it's just a small thing to all the positives. This is a great truck!!!Aug 24, 2008

I wish it had the bigger V8 but the performance from the smaller V8 is not bad. acceleration is decent for a truck. I have a flowmaster exhaust that makes it sound awesome. I still need to do a K&N Intake. Apr 21, 2008

A pretty good truck unless you wanted to haul something in the box. It was made to haul people, not sheets of plywood. Box too short for a fifth wheel hitch unless you buy one of those fancy self moving hitches ($4000).Mar 29, 2008

My first 5.4L V8 truck. I find it has lots of towing power and plenty enough power to pass when you need to. The ride is firm but not overly so, with responsive steering. Paint job was well done by Ford. Heated leather seats sure are nice in the winter, most newer leather has heating and cooling now but I still get a kick out of mine. All and all a good buy for someone that may want a truck for off road and on. Mar 07, 2008

Obviously a very pretty truck, but also very capable in all weather and driving conditions. XLT trim package means it has most of the modern day amenities we are all spoiled by.Jan 17, 2008
