December 22, 2023The truck has a 4.3L V6 and as a result does not have much power. The fuel tank is very large for 3.00+ fuel costs, 36 gallons. But the truck is a very good truck when used as a truck.Interior is identical to a Silverado. Very stylish.

February 28, 2011Great looking truck lost of fun great amount of power with 4.8. Very reasonable when it came time for repairs or oil changes of the truck. 15-16 mpg in city and 19-22 hwy mpg not bad for a truck.
February 2, 2014I havent had to do many repairs, however my Transfer Case Control Module is acting up now @ 120,000 miles. I bought this truck more for the awesome SLT package it has-heated leather seats, BOSE sound system, fog lights... Its a great truck, nice power,unfortunately the body parts(heated signal mirrors) are NOT cheap.
November 6, 2009Very good a reliable truck. Very little problems, Just normal maintenance and TLC, keep this 2003 going. I guess my biggest problem was rear brakes, had to brake calipers. But the truck on has 71.000 miles. Would buy another one.
April 4, 2013this truck has get up and go. it is built solid and will tow anything it is a little dirty outside but it runs great. the gas mileage is pretty good for it to be a truck. i love to turn i tire in this truck.
December 10, 2009You have to love GMC. They are professional grade. unfortunately I have the 4.3 V6. Its a great motor. tough as hell. But just not quite enough power for a full size truck. But hey, you take what you can get, right?
September 14, 2009Love my truck, it can go through anything. Has over 50k on it. Only have had a few problems nothing serious. It's actually not bad on gas and it was a pretty cheap truck I guess you could say. It's so fun to put the pedal to the medal in it.
