What owners say
"Overall, owners of the 2003 Chevrolet Malibu appreciate its reliability and comfortable driving experience, especially highlighting its good performance from the V6 engine. Many liked the spacious interior and decent gas mileage, making it a practical choice for everyday use. However, some found the car less refined compared to competitors like the Camry or Accord, with a few mentioning discomfort and a somewhat dull interior design as downsides."
Handles wonderfully, with little effort, doesn't feel like 4,000 lbs. Comfortable, modern interior, intuitive controls.
April 5, 2008The car has been very reliable & handles well. The leather has held up nicely & has great space for everything! V6 provides a lot of power to it as well. Wish more people would want a Chevy in CA rather than a honda or toyota though. Market value should be higher than what they are going for. Never had any major problems with this car ...
August 11, 2013I love my car. Gold Malibu. Tan interior. Drives efficiently. Great on the gas.I would buy another someday. I would love to have a sun roof in this car, but can't have all the possitives, and no negatives thats just life. It has a CD player, AC, electronic seats, tilts, spacious compartments. But no way of plugging in my IPOD. It is fun to drive, and fits my personality. It drives, very well, but when stopping its body frame shifts and squeaks. No it is not the brakes, guys. I have not had to make any repairs, other than minor wear repairs. It is a really great car.I would recommend this car to a friend.

July 1, 2008Good performance from 3.1 liter v6 sporty suspension, and good traction from 215 width tires reliable as hell, and I beat the snot out of it cars last forever if taken care of interior is good but has rental-ish feel Very common car, looks are lacking Minimal customiztion options
November 9, 2009pretty good car to own. Realiable and easy to maintian. I think it was a good every day car and the only reason I got a different car was for more space for the family. No major problems while I had it.
May 28, 2012The most uncomfortable car I have ever owned, but with only one car in the fam, my wife drove it most of the miles, it has been a very reliable car, and the things that broke were covered under the extended warranty. I have put 85K+ on in 4 years, and it has been good on gas with Avg. MPG between 23-29 with mixed driving, and my wife's lead foot.
March 31, 2008kickin sound system for a little malibu. it has a lot of space in it. its my baby the trunk is so big and comfy that i lay in it and read. handles pretty good. i got it almost never used. nothing wrong with it. 12,000 miles. dark grey exterior light grey interior. 28 mpg low maintenece. AWESOME TO DRIVE
September 28, 2008No as refined as its other competitors as the camry or accord, the overall impression is fair for the price. The cabin is quiet enough and the controls are not impressive but modest. The 3.1 engine performance is the strong point in this car. The ergonomics are good.
April 13, 2008its a v6... good for passing ppl but sucks the gas. the back seat has lots of leg room. low maintenance for the one I own. could handle better around corners. wish it was better on gas. will buy a smaller car next time, maybe a TDI jetta
April 11, 2012this car is a decent car. it has plenty of room if you are taller no matter where you are sitting.Engine has power but the fact that it is a weak design makes you think about beating on it.
