I owned a 2002 E 320 designo that had a Luxury package, Performance package and Sport package. The exterior was a very dark brown that some people took for black with a beautiful dark carmel interior. It look sharp, ran great and very low maintenance. When I bought it in 2004 it only had 44,000 miles on it. Unfortunately it was involved in an accident in 20015 and the insurance company totaled it. I have been hunting to find anther one just like it but so far no luck. It was the nicest car Ive ever owned. I really loved it so much I wont give up looking for that same car I know it couldnt have been the only one with all the things mine had and I have my heart set on finding one.

Absolute best Mercedes Benz that has ever been made. Great on shirt and long distance drives. Maintenance is very minimal. I had one that went to 435k miles. Regret having to let her go. Looking for another one.

The concept, the space and the mechanics are good to very good. BUT !!! The most rust-prone body of the 90s - Mercedes had to repair and repaint tens of thousands of cars of this type. Before buying a used car of this type, you have to look for hidden rust !!! Repairing a rusty body will almost always be more expensive than buying this used car, which is at least 18 years old!

Pure Luxury- Nothing Says It Like Mercedes — Really enjoyed this car- bought from my mommy and have loved it. I have a few cars and am running out of garage room;) This Mercedes offers enough of a sporty look and feel yet with enough room and class for business! Great car!!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Great car- maybe will pick up an newer one one day

Cons: Would love to get a convertible one day

Benz For Hot Mamma's — I like the price and body style, and the name of course! It really is an easy hauler, and looks very sexy for a wagon. It does have the option of being "stunted" up, and that makes the car even more appealing, TINT AND GOOD DETAIL GOES A LONG LONG WAY.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: good alternative to the "minivan"

Cons: can be hard to get serviced, and needs TLC

A True Classic Of Automobile — Driving this car makes you feel secure and safe in every situation, rain, snow or shine. This E-430 4-MATIC version was the top of the line.Very noble car to drive. Its easy to understand why people buy the E-Class more then any other Benz models in the world.

Pros: E-Class is best seller for years .Reliable, practicle, sophisticated,.4MATIC option is great feature, the car is a true 4X4.Fuel consumption is similar to E-320, but runs more smoothly with V-8.Easy find replacement parts.

Cons: The weight of the car. This is a classic sedan, not a sports car.

Very Comfortable Car — Excellent for driving and very comfortable. A little underpowered but then my previous cars were a Jaguar XJS and Honda Prelude both sports cars with sporty perfoirmance. I do not think any more power is required for the Mercedes E Class 220 CDI but one just has to accomodate to the difference.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Very refined and very comfortable

Cons: I have not had the car long (3 months) but I expect repair and servicing  costs in the future  to be high

Love It! — Bought the car used at auction to resell. The wife fell in love with it and we decided to sell the Honda instead. Can't beat the quality construction. It has good power and handling. I love all the safety features. It seats 7. I only drive around town and still get 17+ mpg. If you are looking for a safe car for the family, you should consider one of these.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: looks, power, quality

Cons: needs better/more cup holders, more a/c vents in rear

Good — great car, would like to see the read outs for the out door temperture and clock funcion better - they are out or can bearly read them - the car drives and handles well, Lexus will never be a Benz - know that!

Pros: ride, handling

Cons: some electrical problem , tail light, temperture and clock out

The Family Wagon: Elegant, Speedy, Utiility — This is just a great car. The only thing that breaks on it is the cup holder and the vanity mirror. Its older, so it doesn't have XM/Sirius/iPod plug. Still looks classy and seats 7. The seats in the tail gate are the best. Kids love them. Beat a Cayenne S in a straight line, foot to the floor contest.

Pros: Elegant, speedy, utiility

Cons: not enough cup holders
