Not A Good Impression — I sold this car because it was too big for me, it drove good, exaclty a highway car, but i didn´t demand it so i decided to sold it and get another one smaller and better talking about fuel economy. Primary Use: Commuting to work
Pros:
Engine power
Cons:
The model i took was neglected so it has a lot of bad points. |

Awesome Car — This Malibu is the first car I've ever owned, and I can tell it will last me a long time. Partly because I bought it with <60,000 miles on it, and partly because it is just about flawless. The gas mileage could be a bit better, so far I've gotten around 18-19 mpg city, and the acceleration from a stop isn't the best, rather poor, actually. But everything, literally, everything else about this car is fantastic. Of the reviews I've read, owners either love their car or hate it.. and I am one of the ones who loves their Malibu. So I, for one, recommend it. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Good mileage works good Cons: Nothing |

Great Value And Transportation. — Looking for an older car that is reliable? The Chevy Malibu is a great choice. The car drives well and has plenty of room for 5 adults. There are no frills with the base model, but it does include features like power windows and locks, ABS brakes, etc. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Just good transportation. Very reliable. Cons: None, other than this is an older car missing modern car features |

Return Of The Quality Malibu — A good car, 3.1 V6 had power on demand, handled well, especially when I put Kelly tires on it. Comfy ride, maintenance was middle of the road, though it went through brakes kind of fast. Good looking car and rode well, not a Cadillac but not a Cavalier either. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: A good road car and commuter. Cons: It burned some gas and some brakes. |

I Am Now A Ford Guy! — The car had Dexcol in it and eat the Head Gaskets! Car is now dead and sitting in the back Yard with a blown motor. GM Knows of the issue and has been suide over it and still has not made it a recall repair. But almost everyone who has a 2000 - 2004 is having the same issue. In 2005 GM changed the Headgaskets they where using to new ones that Dexcool dose not eat. Come on GM do a recall or continue to piss of your customer base and watch them go over seas on there car purchases. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: fun Cons: Motor issue |

Buy A Malibu — it works great. not the most beautiful car though, it is a family style car after all. rides nice, its fast. doesn't handle the best around corners since it is a bigger car. gas mileage is really good for a v6. so far i have only had to have the front brakes and a wheel barring replaced. its a pretty dark green color with a beige and gray interior.i wish it were a black interior though. it has 4 cup holders which i like a lot, and air conditioner, love that. i also like that it has a factory am/fm radio with both a cd player and cassette player, not to mention the speakers which have pretty good bass response for factor made. overall i love my Malibu. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: works great Cons: not sporty enough |

'02 Chevy Malibu - My Take On It — Performance: Excellent front brakes, stock calipers are a bit weak though (single pistons), Acceleration is good (0-60 in about 8 seconds from a stop), though it came from Enterprise's rental fleet where they uptuned it to run on Mid-grade as well as giving it a much larger airbox and replacing the headgaskets for high performance ones. Cost of Ownership: gets about 240 miles on city, can get it to about 380 on the highway! Fun Factor: Hell yeah, front wheel drift Pros: Good daily driver with a bit of power behind it Cons: Front Wheel Drive |
