October 22, 2011I love the performance of this car it has great throttle response. the brakes could be a bit better. styling is great but not many after market upgrades available. This car over all is a blast to drive. just awesome.

March 1, 2008It is the WORST car i've ever driven in winter. And driven probably twenty different cars in winter. I love how it handles any other time of year and I've driven it on long distance road trips. It handles JUST LIKE the 2013 Elantra I drive, which says that the sonata is quality...but that neither can drive on snow or ice.
January 7, 2014This model is from the time when Hyundai was just starting to turn around their quality. Performance: 4 out of 10 Build Quality: 7 out of 10 Appearance: 9 out of 10 Fuel Mileage: 8 out of 10 It's not the most fun to drive though, but has a good stereo.
