Good Overall Car — The vehicle has performed well and handles okay. The appearance is great and the ride is comfortable. Not much noise, the gas mileage is great and the repair are fair. The performance like accerleration, braking, and handling is okay and is fun to drive.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: good fuel efficient vehicle

I Like It. I Got A Really Good Deal On This Car, And It Gets Good Fuel Mileage. — This car is soooo cool. It gets over 30 mpg. It has an automatic transmission, and an Ecotec 4-cyl engine. I can lay down the back seat and put all kinds of stuff in it. It is not too fun to drive, because I can't run things over like I can in my truck, and its slow.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Gas mileage, and you can put stuff in the back

Cons: Need for speed

Only Lasts Half As Long As A Toyota So It Make — We loved our LW200 until the the timing chain broke and ruined the engine. We found a recall by searching the internet that included our VIN in the range. GM says our VIN in not included. We asked for the list of included VIN numbers and were denied. We can only conclude that there is no list of valid VIN numbers and this recall was bogus. Its the first car we have ever owned that would not go 100,000. Its ok for GM to take our tax money but they wont stand behind there own recall notices.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great all around car

Cons: GM quality and customer support

All In All, This Car Got Me To Consider Saturn As A Decent Car Company. — Overall the car isn't bad. Pretty precise handling, enough torque to at the very least get out of it's own way, VERY roomy interior, and when I get the speakers for it, a decent stereo. Problem: engine lacks anything for the sporty driver, less than advertised fuel economy (though still very good), and the 2 random pieces of feaux wood trim inside... what gives?

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Drive this if you need the practicality but want a good canvas for light performance.

Cons: Cannot check trans fluid without having vehicle on lift, transmission very expensive to service.
