It Is A Pieces Of Crap!!! — I have had nothing but problems with this car. In the past 3 months I have had to put in more than $5,000 in repairs, including a rebuilt engine last month. Now it looks like there is something wrong with the transmission.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: none

Cons: every month something else goes wrong!!!

Good All-around Vehicle — All around a very good vehicle. Jeeps are great off the road, or in bad weather. Several known problems, taillights burned out, factory radiator overheats, Front seats not comfortable, average fuel economy 15 to 17 City 20 to 26 highway.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Best 4 Wheel  drive in it's class

Cons: Cherokees are known for overheating, interior could be better. Could have better gas mileage in the city.

Goes Anywhere, Anytime — We've always had some kind of 4WD SUV in the family - new england blizzards being what they are. This is our third jeep - we always buy them used because the new prices are staggering. This being the 8 cyl, limited model makes it a full on luxury jeep - but it's still a jeep; a big square box that goes anywhere, anytime. This is my daily driver now.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: 4WD, roomy, powerful, easy to work on

    Cons: mileage, looks,

Love Jeeps But They Don't Love Me Back. — I always have been and always will be a Jeep person. However, I have come to the realization that I will have to love them from afar. I bought this Jeep 3 years ago with about 80K miles on it and in that time period I have put about 30K miles on it and about $3000 into it. I have had to replace all 4 wheel speed sensors, fixed the blend door for the passenger side heater (I did the cheap fix off ebay which saved me a bundle), had the seat heaters go out, replaced the rear lock actuator, replaced the mechanism that lowers and lifts the passenger side window and developed a glitch in the light system which results in the lights flashing at odd times even when the car is parked and off, and those are just the things I can remember. It really is true that the engine will last forever but its everything else that falls part. With that said I will still miss it. It was fun to drive and I always felt safe. If you are handy and can do a lot of the little stuff on your own it might be worth the heartache.

Pros: Great power.  Great in the snow and ice.  Feels safe.

Cons: Reliability of some of the features aren't so great.  Poor fuel economy with the V8.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, Reliable, Comfortable And Quality — This is my second Jeep Grand Cherokee and I like it a lot, I have this one for a while and will probably buy a current generation next. The Grand Cherokee is great in the snow, comfortable for everyday driving and always reliable. I have not had any problems with this jeep and I expect it will last for many more years, I would recommend this model Jeep Grand Cherokee to anyone since I have always had good reliable driving with it. Great vehicle.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Excellent vehicle, reliable in the Jeep tradition and comfortable, good overall but not so good with mileage unless you stay out of the gas.

Cons: Mileage is the only negative of the V8 when gas is expensive

Great All Around Vehicle — First off lets start with quality. I have not put any money into this jeep besides regular maintenance things, like oil and filters. This jeep is built very well, the interior quality is nice, especially if you get a limited or overland. The jeep 4.0 straigh six is an awesome engine and will run forever reliably. It has a good amount of torque, which helps it move the jeep reasonably well. Gas mileage in town is not good, usually around 14 for me, while highway is anywhere from 18-22 depending. The quadra-trac 2 and Quadra-drive 4 wheel drive systems a great AWD systems that will really work to get you out of some tough situations. Overall these are a great vehicle for any climate which gets tons of snow and or ice, or anyone looking for a good qulaity "SUV", even thought a lot of jeep owners will never refer to it as on but only as a JEEP. They are very capable offroad from the factory and with an ever expanding aftermarket, they are becoming even more capable.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Love how it rides stock, offroad as well as ice/snow capabilities, build quality, interior is nice and organized and not over-the-top.
Maintainance is easy, nothing major at all other than routine stuff.
Offroad capability really does live up to the jeep name.

Cons: Gas mileage and that i don't own two or three :)

The Beast Never Sleeps — I love it.. always will and always have loved the WJ model. Its timeless.. and hopefully its lines will go on with me for a while. The QuadraDrive system is amazing... the v8 hauls ass for its size, and i wouldn't trade it for anything.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: The comfort, the 5spd auto is actually amazing on the v8. I get 24mpg on the highway.

Cons: Nothing sucks about it.. I love it..

Good Fit For The Right Person — Its not fast, it makes a lot of noise, it has a good many dings but it still looks good. This big black beast will go anywhere you want it to go as long as you fill its hungry tank. It has over 100k miles on it and I hope it makes it another 100k or more.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: very nice to drive and goes anywhere.

Cons: If you dont take care of cars don't buy a jeep it will not take care of you
