Great Commuter Car — it's been a solid reliable car (2nd owner) ... original owner kept up with maintenance. Hyundai has come a long way. Also got a $750.00 credit from the dealer towards our new 2015 Santa Fe for being a "loyal Hyundai owner". pretty good deal! Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: smooth quiet ride Cons: ABS light recall |

Everything A Car Should Be. — Lack of power in the 2 letter engine. Not fast, below average cars in power. most 2 letter engines put out 160-200 Horse power, this one put around 140... Cheep window switch but everything else is excellent. Very fun car. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: gas, relivable, modifiable Cons: electric driver side door window switch is crap |

Good Little Trouper Of A Car — I've had this car for the last 7 years of its life, mostly needed for commuting (60 miles round trip, at first; 78 after an office move), with the occasional road trip hauling my parents somewhere. It's been quite fine for the commute and the occasional passengers have found it comfortable enough. A/c never let me down in south FL heat; basic (cassette) stereo's had satisfying sound with my mp3 player du jour. And I was surprised to find this model was only marked for 22/30ish mpg - for the first four years, I saw more like 28/38. It's been quite a reliable, safe-seeming little car. Got rear-ended at a red light two months after I bought it - older driver in a Toyota used me to brake down from 30+ miles per hour, but my car actually looked better than his did and I wasn't injured, which impressed me a lot, for my first-ever accident. It's also easily gotten me home several times through flooded major roads (due to tropical storms) that were stranding and ruining similar-looking small sedans all over the place. 95k+ miles later, I'm searching for its replacement, and due to the surprising mpg, the reliability ('til recent transmission woes), and safety features, I don't think I'll be looking away from Hyundai. Great little car; I'm very fond of it. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: reliability and fuel economy for first several years Cons: transmission issues after a while |

Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Outstanding quality no maintanance for last 9 months Cons: nothing |

Sedan — I like the heated side-view mirrors even though they cost about $100 to replace just the glass piece. I dont like the keyless entry key that comes standard with the car. Pretty good stock speakers for a midsize sedan, with alot of easy accessable tunk space. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Heated sideview mirrors Cons: Bumpers dent easy due to large air pockets |

Its Great Car For The Price I Paid — the power steering pump belts keep coming loose, and the emissions duiring winter always make my check engine light go on. overall this is a good car for the money i paid, it doesn't help that i have 280k miles on it :) Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: gas mileage, 5-speed stick Cons: power steering pump pisses me off |

Try To Find Something Else — Accerleration SUCKS. Brakes are going OUT. Handling is good since I just got new tires. Doesn't need repairs except a big dent on the side. And the brake routers are starting to GO! The only thing good about it is the tinted windows and stereo systems. Interior is nothing special, but it's nice cloth. Gas to fill up at BP is 30$ 12 gallon car. This car is not fun to drive, it's not the worst either, believe me I have driven worse~ Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: It's small Cons: It's slow |

The Elantra — this car runs forever. all it needs a is a little routine check ups and this car will go on and on. its actually really fun to drive too. the interior is roomy, but the seats aren't the comfiest, and sometimes the car squeaks. when you turn. overall this car is very good and its a great commuter. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Gas milage build quality durability Cons: the seats arent comfy |
