The Alero is a good car to own but its expensive to maintain and to modify. The 3.4 litre v6 does have a lot of power stock but with a few little upgrades this car could be a beast on and off the track. The interior is very comftorable and sleek. Im not to fond of the exterior styling as it is sometimes compared with the mid to late 90s mustang. All in all Id have to say that everyone should own an Alero at least once in their life.May 12, 2010

My alero is silver, leather interior, sunroof, and alloy wheels, V6 engine. Watch out this is a beastly beasty. I love this car its my first. oh man its awesome to drive especially when its sunny and the sunroof is open.Aug 01, 2009

150 HP gives you some room to smoke a few people who maybe ride around in old Toyota Tercels, but it's nothing special. It's an alright looking car, somewhat sporty in appearance. It's a 4 dr, I prefer coupes. The gas mileage is fair and overall it has a low cost of ownership. It had it's tire axle broken (thanks to another family member) and then it ha problems with the rotors, but with that fixed it is still a nice car. It's not something you're going to want to dump 10k into but for a nice Sunday drive sort of car, it passes the test.Apr 16, 2009
