Overall For The Price And Maintenence Dollars I Spenton It ,it's Great To Own It ! — the first car i ever owned that would do 160 mph on the highway and handle the curves and rapid accelleration factors it has indured! ever time i drive it , i feel like a NASCAR driver at Talledaga Motor Speedway !

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: the power and handling it has on the open highway !

Cons: it's starting to rust a little !

Reliable Car — good car for the price. Rides nice and handles well on back road and highway. Great gas mileage and engine runs nice and quiet. Love the power and heated seats. Cargo space is very large for college students transporting their many bags of items.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: great power, good engine, roomy, great handling on road.

Cons: ABS, Traction Control keep appearing on dashboard after being serviced along with the airbag light.

Comfy, Roomy, Family Car! — Good, Fun, comfortable, roomy, family car or even to take trips on! Looks sleek & comfortable enough to even put down the back seat & nap half way in the trunk on long tripsNot even that bad around town mileage wise because of the size of the engine, but not that great though like a 4 cyl would be. Electrical issues made this car annoying & not cheap to keep up & running and all, but if fixed little bit at a time might have been okay.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Large enough seating! Trunk space and everything! The rear seats folded down 60/40 to be able to utilyze all the trunk space! Drove great at speed, feels like you're floating lol.

Cons: Electrical issues here & there, would sometimes even just Die on me from a stop sign or something after putting my foot on the gas.. Would idle rough occasionally after a while as well.. Also, after a really cold winter & long drive- the thermostat got stuck OPEN, so it ran cold after that all the time.. But then that made the mileage go waay up!! lol

Great Everyday Car. — The car handles very well, accelerates quite quicklly, decent brakes, handles well. Hasn't needed much maintenance and I drive it quite aggresively. The car has a quite sleek and sporty look for a sedan. The car gets great gas mileage for a 2000. Low maintenance. The car is somewhat fun to drive.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The car has quite a bit of power for the price.

Cons: The car is front wheel drive.

Good Conservative Car — The impala is a good car. It is a chevy not a buick or cadilac. I have put over 150,000 miles on it. It had 33,000 miles on it when I purchased it in 2003. From day one I noticed that it love GAS.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: great engine. 3800 series II

Cons: Loves Gas. Not as quiet as I would like but not bad.

Impaler — car is alright, motor is about done for.. Performance is good. Handling sucks. Wish the motor was supercharged. Maintaining this car is very expensive., I seem to always be putting money into it all the time. Anways thats all for my review

One Great Decision! — On of the best cars I have ever owned. It is quick. This is an extremely dependable car. Great gas mileage and comfort on long trips. The value cannot be beat. I have over 100,000 miles and about the only thing I have done to thie car is maintenance, except I needed to replace the air conditioner pump this past summer.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: Not your father's Impala

    Cons: Performance and Reliability
