Classy Car Smooth Ride — Bought 2years ago. Had strange problems. Windshield wiper kept breaking down cost $300 To finally get fixed. Then the bucking began at 35 to 50 mph, took awhile to find out what was wrong. Many solutions mentioned on car guru .took the least expensive, replaced air filter and fuel filter , worked great! Hope that's it for awhile. When's working right ,it's a great ride Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Handling, comfort Cons: Costly maintenance |

I Love My Edward — I love this car, but with gas prices these days, I am definitely looking for something smaller. It has great cargo space, and very comfortable to ride in. My only issue now is the electrical problems I seem to be having Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Big car, plenty of room, looks amazing Cons: Horrible electric problem, and not agood on gas at all |

A Car That Gets Stares. — The first several times I drove the Towncar, I felt like I was driving a hearse. I had to make the adjustment to driving a bigger vehicle, but I sure did enjoy the stares I got and continue to get driving my Towncar. I LOVE the absence of outside noise from within. I LOVE the extras that come with the vehicle, itself. Overall, I LOVE this vehicle and would consider getting another one. =)) Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: The leather interior, extras that come with the vehicle, the look and design of the car, the absence of outside noise from within, the acknowledgement of it being a luxury vehicle. And, the fact that I OWN one! Cons: It really sucks with gasoline. |

Looks Like Any Other Lincoln On The Road Up To 2011. — I love Lincolns, I hate what they have done to the new ones. The ride is as you have heard. It corners beautifully. The paint stays good. I felt safe in the one I wrecked so i feel safe in this one. It is fun to drive if you roll all the windows down and open the moon roof, lay the passenger seat back and watch the stars go by. I've never had it in the garage in 10 years. It doesn't have keys on the door, I wanted that but it does have that lovely moon roof. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: It keeps on going. Everyone loves the car but me. I have to upgrade, i think this car will drive another 10 years! My daughter is begging for the car, that was a shock. She's always driven sport trucks. Maybe she is growing up. Cons: Yes it has a blind spot. I have no idea why they do that. |

Luxury I'd Be Buried In... — This car is a dream to drive. It is like a full size leather sofa on wheels. The ride is so smooth, a 12 hour trip doesn't completely wear you out. Get a Lincoln Town Car, because they will not be produced after this year. A Great American Car. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: The ride, the room, the comfort, and the safety. All 5 star crash ratings. AWESOME Cons: Nothing |

The Best Car I've Ever Had. — It's probably the most comfortable car I've had. It has a great powerful V8 engine, extremely soft air- suspension. The leather interior is soft and comfortable. It looks agressive and masculine. And it has a trunk that fits at least 5 bodies! And it's gas consumption is the same as my 3 litre engine Mercedes. Pros: Luxury, comfortable, big, powerful, rare (in Estonia) Cons: There is no clock on the dashboard. |

Soft And Supple Ride, However You Feel Like You Are Driving A Waterbed. — I've been driving a '99 Towncar for the last 6 years. It has been very dependable. When I purchased it with 40,000 miles on it, all the scheduled maintenance had been done on the vehicle, so I didn't have to do anything for the first year-and-a-half. Then at 65,000 miles I had it tuned, not because it was running improperly, I just figured it couldn't hurt and perhaps I would get better gas mileage. The mileage didn't improve at all and the vehicle ran exactly the same. Last year I had to replace the air conditioning compressor and that cost $650. Other than that the vehicle has been trouble free. I actually went to the Lincoln dealership to inquire about purchasing or leasing a new Towncar, however they only offered me $3000 for my '99. At that rate, I would keep the '99 and purchase or lease a new one and drive them both to keep the mileage off the new one, and drive the old one in the winter and the bad weather. The new one seemed very similar to the old one, except for small differences in the headlights and tailights, and the dashboard was a little different. That's about it. Good luck and God bless. Pros: massive interior, comfortable and quiet ride. Cons: gas mileage, poor traction in bad weather. |
