Best 90’s Mustang, hands down. Nothing beats a grated 4valve Tekside.

Very Responsive Useable Convertible — I love the styling of my cobra. I owned a 1966 mustang 2+2 and every since that car I have loved the mustang style and genre. I am 65 and my wife and I love to weekend trip with it. There is very ample travel space as a weekender car. We enjoy a convertible when we are driving in the Rockies especially.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Wonderful handling. Great motor. Fun to drive.

Cons: Noise inside my convertible.

Fast Fun What A Mustang Is Really All About — great car, nice v8 rumble and torque to go with the looks. I would reccomend this car as a weekend car more then a daily driver to most people. I really was suprised how the highway mpg are up in the 25+ mpg and if you have driven a muscle car you know what I mean.of course when you drive it on the street with a heavy foot you could probably end up getting 13mpg but well worth the $5 on gas you used in gas :-) .

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: power,handling,v8 yet decent highway mpg due to large engine and low rpms needed.

Cons: I would consider this a 2 seater since an adult wouldnt want to sit in the back seat more then 10 minute ride.

Uhhh — Short review for now. Car has good low end power. Not much traction with OEM 245/45/17 tires. The 4 valve 4.6 pulls strong to the higher than usual almost 7k redline as opposed to the 2 valve 4.6. The IRS is nice going around turns. Shifter is in sort of an awkward spot, needs to be closer to the driver. Gears are very notchy. Aside from that its very smooth.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Top end power.

Cons: not used to the lack of traction after being used to AWD

Everything I Expected From A Cobra, And More. —

This is my 3rd mustang. My first car was a sky blue '73 Grande. My second mustang was an '85 GT. Purchased it used with 66,000 miles on it. Much faster than any car I've owned and in fact is the fastest car I've ever driven. Why, oh why did I wait so long? I've only had it a month and already have driven it faster than anything I've been in except an airplane! I am so impressed with its brakes. All this and I get over 20mpg driving to work, that is just insane. Not quite so happy with the front seat, I tend to get a little stiff and want to move around when on a road trip. Have a noise in the rear driver suspension when I change speeds. Clutch is a little heavy but OK for me. My wife can't drive it. After owning it for a week, the oil cooler sprung a massive leak. It happened as I started it after sitting for a weekend to pull it out of the garage to wash it. If I hadn't noticed it, the motor would have been toast in 10 minutes. My mechanic said he'd never seen anything like it, must have been a casting problem. All in all, this is my favorite of all the cars I've had in 35 years of driving.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Horse power, acceleration, handling, brakes, Gas mileage, head-turning factor.  Scary fast.

Cons: Front seats, a little noise in suspension.

I Loved That Car ! — I loved that car. I only owned it for six months, while I was staying in Virginia back in 2002. My boss bought me that car on the first day I arrived. I was sad to leave it behind when I returned to Europe.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The looks

Cons: The fuel consumption

Eve - My '99 Mustang Cobra Convertible — MY DREAM CAR! As soon as I saw her, I knew she had to be mine. She's fast, really great cornering, and even after 5 years, I still get excited to drive her. Yes, she's a bit costly to maintain (premium gas, specialized brakes/tires/etc, and basic repairs), so I have a 2nd car - but this was my daily driver for 3 years and it was great (about 28 mpg highway - no too shabby!!). Yes, the interior is a little plain, but I don't mind it - it's simple. The seats are comfy, but don't hold you in very well if you're blasting around corners - I always end up sliding a little. Could use racing seats. But all in all, I LOVE this car. I have lots of plans for upgrades - supercharger, exhaust system, cold air intake, new rims, etc, and plan to keep this car for a long, long time!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Great cornering, fast, good acceleration, gorgeous

Cons: expensive to maintain, interior is a little plain

Good Fun Car With Style — Car is fun....needs more power-but really you can always use more power. Handles OK. Needs suspension upgrades for the track. Great fun car! Keeps up with most things out there. Glad I bought the car to add to my fleet of toys.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: right amount of fun for the street

Cons: not enough power and mediocre handling on the track
