This car corners on a dime with great acceleration. Not bad for a stock vehicle . The six speed transmission is a bit much. I did a lot of fourth to sixth shifting. At very high speed the rear end gets a little loose and wanders. Mar 02, 2015

The motor is indestructable and is capable of big power gains with little effort or money. The only downside is the IRS. Great looking car with a big reputation is the racing world. Throw on a whipple or kenne bell and you will most likely never lose.Sep 02, 2012

700 HP 1/4 mile in the 9's it is blue with black interior and black rims very loud has
borla cat backs with bassani x pipe. very fun to drive, gets you where you wanna

2004 Ford Mustang Mystichrome Cobra Convertible with 35,000 actual miles and a few performance upgrades. If the 390 horsepower from the factory isn't enough for you a nitrous system has been hooked up, but never used. If the supercharged 4.6 liter is plenty of power then the nitrous can be removed and sold! AutoMeter gauges, a battery shut off, A/C, AM/FM/CD player, automatic convertible top, cruise, tilt, leather, power steering, power brakes, power locks, power seats, power windows, traction control, keyless entry, radial tires, and aluminum alloy wheels make this car a blast to drive. Ford did not make too many of these Mystichrome Cobras, and ever fewer convertibles. This car runs 0-60 in 4.5 seconds and the quarter mile in 12.6 from the factory! Only 515 of these convertibles were made in this color and they are already a collector item.Oct 18, 2011

Stupid straight line acceleration. Great handling and breaking. 6-speed manual. Interior is decent, seats are high quality buckets with swede inserts and are 8 way adjustable. Blue/Green lit white faced SVT gauges are a nice touch with boost gauge stock upper right. Aftermarket red LED shift light. 275 width tires all around, able to roast them in going 50. 26 mpg highway when not being pushed!Jun 08, 2010

Best bang for your buck. It is good to know sometimes that you are the baddest car on the road. With a few upgrades, you can be smoking anything on the road. Just don't try to make a quick turn.Feb 18, 2010

Great acceleration, good looks, the only car that ever put a smile on my face.The 04 Cobra is by far the best mustang ever built. I have owned other Cobras in the past, but this one beats them all in handling and acceleration.Nov 22, 2009

Accelerated like heck, braking was ok, handling was
fine at low speeds. Needed No Repairs what so ever.
Interior of car was great exterior was ok, cost of
ownership was little high, basically an ok car better

The fastest production mustang ever in existence. Ford's specs rated the mustang at 390 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 390 foot-pounds of torque at 3,500 rpm, however actual dyno tests have shown some to be pushing over 500 horsepower and 500 foot-pounds of torque! With a 4.6L 281cid DOHC Modular V8 with an Eaton Supercharger, this is one mustang you don't wanna mess with.Oct 14, 2009

Best car I own. The power is amazing. It is a limited edition Mystic Chrome. Hard to keep traction to the ground. Currenlty has 451 RWHP and a 11.7 sec 1/4 mile. Would not get rid of it for anything.Sep 04, 2009

easily makes 500 hp nice interior(leather and suede). I like the car except for the irs, should made it a straight axle. Its nice in the fall to have the top down. Theres no room in the trunk for stuff if you go on a trip . its a good ride though.

2.93 Upper Blower Pulley and minor bolt ons. 440 rear wheel horsepower as is. Havent had any issues other than putting a clutch in it which is common for a cobra (previous owners suck). 18 MPG around town 23 MPG on highway staying out of boost! I do my own oil changes which costs about 36 bucks using Royal Purple Synthetic 5 w 20 oil and motorcraft oil filter. I have owned many mustangs and this is one of the funniest cars yet. Jul 08, 2009

Performance is very great it can hit 60 in about 2.2
seconds, the build quality is O.K. its heavy, but
mustangs are usually a heavy car to go around by. The
Appearance makes it look like a tough car but inside
when handled wrong its a bitch to get repaired. The
costs WHEW i cant believe my gramps can pay that
much for it and barely use it! Its fun to drive HELL YES!

rolls the hell out. stops good, handles good, only rattles are my fault because of taking the shifter bezel out 10 times..now it rattles. great gas mileage 25mpg out on the highway with 595 rear wheel horsepower.
absolute blast to drive.

my car isnt stock any longer its making 550 rear wheel
horse power. these cars come with 400 horse power
stock and can be made so fast for very little. the car
is incredibly fun to drive its got the raw muscle car

This car is a great car. Great RPM range, good room for my friends and i, gas mileage, and storage space. With just a pulley, borla stingers/xpipe, intake, and tune, i was able to get almost 480-490 horsepower. This car is great, and i love it! Simple as that. I love mine, im whippled with supporting mods, and it has more power than you can use on the street, and will drive very agile for daily driving. drive it normal and you cant tell that its not a V6.
handling stock isnt BAD, but after all the IRS bushings, rear coilovers, tubular K member, and front coilovers, it handles LOTS better
over all theres no doubt its the best bang for the buck. $2K into it and you putting down 500WHP.
interior quality isnt BAD, but could be better, but after all its a mustang. a mustang with a $38K sticker price, but a mustang none the less.May 12, 2008
