1997 Mitsubishi 3000GTReview

Car has a lot of engine issues that weren’t not shown at the dealer. Also the steering is Crocked and it has no heated seats. Also this car barely hit 80 mph without trembling, this car has no hp whatsoever. I thought the turbo was gonna do anything but it’s more like a scooter with a wheel. ![]() Looking for a Used 3000GT in your area?CarGurus has 37 nationwide 3000GT listings and the tools to find you a great deal. |

really good car. Especially if you know about 3000gts even only somewhat. But definitely not for the random passerby only getting the car only for the novelty of it. You kinda have to be in the know. But if you must, it is religion in the 3000gt community to do the timing belt. As they, as well as the rest of the car, are getting old and harder to find in low miles. Unless you wanna gamble whether or not the motor will blow itself up before you resell it, plan an extra ~1000$ into your budget for it, and it will last a lifetime... Or... at least 5 years until the next timing belt change interval, but you know what i mean. Go to 3si.org for more |

Great Sports Car For The Money — This car turns heads especially in red. The 3000gt handles well but could use a little more power. Hatchback is good for long items such as sporting goods. My paint has held up very well but it was kept inside the garage by me and previous owner.
Pros:
I have driven the 1997, 3000GT, 3.0L v6, for 9 years. Great Car. Just bought a 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 and I hope is as reliable as the 3000GT. Cons: Can't drive in winter up North. Back seats are for kids, but what does anyone expect from a sports car. |

Awesome! — its a great car, handles well. accelerates well. the downside to it is the FWD system. the car would be alot more fun if it was RWD. overall it was built pretty well, and the leather interior is great. overall i give a 4 out of 5 stars Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: acceleration, handling, looks. Cons: backseats. |

Best Japanese Sports Car. — I love this car. When I first saw a 3000GT I knew i had to have one. It's quick and handles like a champ. People are always checking it out when I drive by. Driving this car always puts a smile on my face. These cars a little expensive to maintain, but are definitely worth it. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: I love everything about this car. It's why I bought another one after my first one was totaled. Cons: I can't think of anything that I would hate about this car |

Fun Fast Cheap To Buy — mitusbishi gto twin turbo, very very very very fast. beat plenty of e46 m3s. performance- very quick 300hp 3.0 twin turbo engine. THE ECS suspension keep the car feeling great in the corners and the 4wd gives plenty of grip but the 4ws makes the car feel twitchy in corners. build- like a rock apperance- black paint, only a car enthusiast will notice. cost- not economic, insurance is high and as i tax . but the car is very cheap fun- very Pros: fun Cons: not economic |
