Most Successful Car In Hyundai's History — it was my second car. I liked it a lot bcuz it could go fast enough, and at the same time it had good gas mileage. I didn't spend much money on the car but it always gave me good performance. I think this one was HyunDai's most successful car in it's history.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It's nice design and good performance

Cons: old enough to change

The Mean Green Drift Machine Hahaha — Very Very Very tough engine and trasmission.... Great Winter beater and drifter haha. Although it is kind of a boring car in the summer (Hence the camaro lol). This was my first car so if sentimental value means anything... Love the car haha

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fuel economy, Good E-Brake

Cons: No power

The Commuter — The 1997 elantra is not the prettiest car on the road but it does have its luxuries everything todays driver needs power windows, no cd player but decent radio and sound system. Body is solid paint does go away due to age and hyundai's cheap paint jobs i think. Great gas milage estimated 23 city. Not to much maintence invloved in this car if you get everytihng checked once a year or more. Performance is really decent also for a 4 cylinder i think. ive only had the car almost 2 months so cant tell much more.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: great commuter thanks to the gas milage and somewhat sporty look

Cons: has some issues with paint but otherwise not bad car from what ive seen so far

Hyundai Elantra Wagon — For an inexpensive car, I've been amazed how utterly reliable it has been. Performance is OK (it's a 4-cylinder station wagon, not a Ferrari!) I would definitely buy another Hyundai (and plan to soon!)

Pros: Inexpensive, reliable

Cons: Kind of small

It's Reliable. — It's an economy car without any extras. It's not impressive in any way, but I've seen worse.

Pros: Great on gas.

Cons: Korean cars suck to fix yourself.  Nothing is easy, with the exception of the brakes, but don't get me started on rotors.

Good Motor, Poor Transmission — The auto transmission in these cars are garbage. Once they warm up everything worked good. But in cold it was very slow shifting between gears. My car never had anything done to it, so its quite reliable. It would be a good car if its a manual.

Pros: Good motor, good fuel economy, reliable

Cons: Bad auto transmission

Nothing Special But It Runs. — It's nothing to whistle at but it gets me form here to there reliably and quickly. It's a good all around car.

Pros: acceleration for a wagon

Cons: door handles break easily.
