You Just Can't Beat A Honda. The Energizer Bunny Of Cars. — I just can't say enough about this car. I got it for $2,000 off of Craigslist with 160,000 miles on it. I just turned over 250,000 miles and it's still going strong. It was an Arizona car so there's no Honda cancer present. It made it through last year's brutal winter (consistent below zero temps for almost 3 months running) with nary an issue...and it was NOT garaged at all. How lucky can a guy get.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Reliability.  Fuel mileage...when running right can get up to 42 mpg combined.

Cons: None

Excellent For Basically Free Car. — the car ran great(before my recent problems). got great gas mileage. handled corners very well.. got me were i needed to go! no weird noises or smells. dont like the 4 cylinder but really cant complain, for a basically free car. all my cons are just really cosmetic things. which is not bad at all! i love hondas. makes me happy to own one!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: the car was basically free when i needed a car when my trans went out on my vw jetta. great gas mileage. ran smooth. no weird noises

Cons: crappy paint job. headlights wired wrong. no a/c. seat belts were chewed up (probably from dog). manual window regulator broke. accessory plug broke. 4 cylinder

Awesome Car — very reliable, cheap on parts and labour. quick and fun to drive, u can find parts for it anywhere. original d16 enge blew at about 250 000ks, but bought and installed the new motor super cheap. 50$ in gas will last about 2-3 weeks.

Pros: good gas mileage, its quick, handles good.

Cons: its lowered, so it scrapes on almost everything.

Good Car — It's a Honda and is very dependable. It seems to have good mileage and handles well. It seems a bit underpowered but could probably out perform a new Ford Fiesta. Has two CD players and cruise control. I think it is a good car.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It is a Honda

Cons: Kinda dented up

Great Reliable Car Thats A Gas Saver, Not A Racer... Or At Least Not Right Now — Great 5 speed, awesome gas mileage..around 34 on highways id say..car is small, has a 1.4 ltr v-tech, doesn't have the best pick up. other then that it corners tight and is a fun car.. this car will last forever if taken care of.. 97 is a good year..

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: gas saver, reliable, practical

Cons: no reason

Fun, Quick, Saves Gas, Looks Cool, Sounds Good If You Put Enough Into It. — My suped up 1997 Honda Civic Ex with approx 165 horsepower. I could walk a Honda Civic Si. Carbon fiber hood, aluminum spoiler, Si rims, V-tech controller, 9.8 mm wires, fuel pressure regulator and guage, intake, Tornado air induction, throttle spacer, headers, racing cat., N1 Exhaust, pulleys, no A/C, or Power steering, original euro tailights, front Si fascia lip, hook-ups for subwoofer and amp

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fun to drive. It was like a go cart with a manual transmission.

Cons: No reason to avoid it.

Great Car To Get From A To B Cheap And You Get There Everytime. — Great car. Never really anything other than gass and oil and gets great MPGs. Not a race car but with a few bolt ons gets about a 10 sec 0-60 while still getting 40mpgs. not a ton of room but from work and back cheap haven't found anything better.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: MPG

Cons: Room
