Ford Fiesta. Let The Party Begin? — Love this little car... slow as hell, but it serves its duties very well. i would highly recomend this as a start up car. its very easy to drive, and it gets unbelievable gas milage. If it had a bit more power, i'd really enjoy it... but i'm satisfied with what i've got. beats the hell outa walkin

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Gas milage

Cons: No power

Ideal Cheap Small Family Car — it's very cheap to run, tax and insure. ideal for small family as it has 5 doors. the parts are also cheap and easy to get hold of. it's not dead fast but the 1.3 engine is enough for me at the moment. ideal first car :)

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: it's cheap

Cons: the colour lol!

Fun — Reliable, rubbish lilac colour, same inside, cheap, fun to drive, chuckable, but poor acceleration. It was great fun and a great first car with a few comforts like power steering, but not too light. Loved it and would have another any time

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Chuckable

Cons: Colour

Decent Enough For Now, With Just Enough Character To Keep Me From Becoming Depressed. — It looks pretty decent with my alloys on it, large tyres means it grips ok too. But it really lacks any stability; the suspension feels kinda past it. The engine is a complete wet lettuce, lacking torque accross the whole range and has a pathetic top end as well. It also rounds rough, boring, old and unrefined. The brake discs need replacing so the pedal shakes a LOT when braking from high speeds.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Kind of cheap to insure i suppose.  Not many out there like it.  Looks good with my alloys on. Great stereo.

Cons: Fuel economy pathetic - 40mpg tops on a car this small and this slow is appauling. It is very slow.  It is panicked by faster driving on unsmooth roads.  Brakes rubbish due to the shaking you get from the pedal.

Fiesta — General quality is good and car is reliable. Poor performance, weak torque every rpm areas. Low maintenance cost. Cheap spare parts and easy change. Yes car is very fun drive in traffic and small places. Sunny days cruising car in downtown.

Pros: Low gas cost.

Cons: Poor performance

Ford Bag Of Spanners — classic first car material, good on the mpg, rattles, bangs and goes on and on...its not fast, its not good looking but its really cheap to run and u can always find one in the scrapper or dumped on a hard shoulder if you need spares! 1300 pushrod engine from the ford ka, been around for ages and runs off a chain..bottom line, its the definitive Ford.

Pros: Cheap, spares easy to find

Cons: its a ford...so rattles a lot

Johnathon Wibble Wobble - Fiesta Fun — Build quality is of the strongest you will ever see. brakes are very sensitive and react with the grace of a blue whale. incredible acceleration and perfectly balanced handling. very cheap to run and low maintenance required. Probably the best car available to anyone with a death wish/ suicide note. may experience a slight wibble wobble.

Pros: everything

Cons: doesnt like trees

I like the fiesta, I had one in the past it is a reliable car. It looks good, it gets great gas mileage, and it is a FORD! I would compare this car to the Chevy Cruze, or the Honda civic. Read More
