1996 Eagle Talon ESi FWDReview

Good Car Overal — ESi Eagle Talon, not bad on fuel, would be better if turboed. Price I paid was 1200 and it has a problem with burning oil. Steering pump squeels when at the end of the turning radius. Has a cold air intake and everything else is stock except the radio. Manual Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Shifting Cons: That its non turboed ![]() Looking for a Used Talon in your area?CarGurus has 1 nationwide Talon listings and the tools to find you a great deal. |

Hope To Be Able To Do More With This Car Before It's Time Is Up. — for a heavy sport car this older turbo talon is one of the ancestors to newer and power leading vehicles today. tho the fasted modified 4 cylender in the word is the motor from this car. it was tuned and thrown into production with great promise. the modle didn't last but the poopularity still roams, and this car has proven to be of great potential. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: that it's my first under 100k car and has been the best car for my style of driving and comfort. Cons: that is sucks up gas, or at least seems to. with it's small tank n premium fuel only makes for a difficult time. |

I Wouldnt Pay More Than £7.500 For One. — I loved the the acceleration, when i put my foot it used to just shoot off and that was it, it was gone. i built it up nicely as you can see from my pictures. this car was a very fun car to drive in, i would recomend it to you. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: its fast Cons: its expensive |

Getcha One — Excellent acceleration and power, but who ever owned it before me didn't know how to take car of it. Love the turbo. very nice handling, acceleration out of corners is phenomenal. And I don't care how many words they're hoping for. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: All around fun Cons: it eats oil |

Would Be Better If They Included A N/a 4g Engine Than A 420a — wish i had the TSI but the esi looks just as incredible. it is a quick little car and only cost me under two grand to buy. It turns heads and is a rare care brand to find, but when you do its worth it Pros: Looks, sportiness Cons: 420a engine |

96 Eagle Talon Tsi Awd — The turbo made it hard to do any engine work, but overall a GREAT car! Lots of style. Very fast off the line. Turned lots of heads. Cherry red with a black top. Beautiful car! The maintenance costs were a little bit high. Would recommend the car to a friend. Pros: Sportiness Cons: Maintenance costs |

Nice — it was the fastest car i had ever driven it was sweet and would smoke any other cars that was the almost the same body style and performance. I loved it and would love to have it back anytime. It was the easiest car to work on and add performance parts to. Pros: fast, Cons: body styling |

Great Tuner Car — Yes, its a 12 yr old car, and has had its share of repairs, but it is cheap to fix yourself, and has insane amounts of power! With good wheels and tires, this car hugs corners and has great acceleration. Even being a sports car, this car gets about 25mpg!! Pros: Easy to repair yourself, cheap to upgrade Cons: Older car, needs more maintainance |
