Its a nice car very fun to drive i bought it a week ago and the car hadnt been driven for two years thats probably why it has machanical problems. Prrvious owner had it for one week and hood went and smashed windshield in.Aug 15, 2014

needs a lot of work, like in the engine, no compression on number two cylinder but it does have the DOHC engine, dunno about the cost of owner ship, don't know if its a fun car to dive as it runs like crapApr 16, 2011

This car had the possiblity to be fast but because of a ECM problem didnt accelerat very fast but i never hit top speed on this car and i have went 200 km in it.This car had alot of problems from the ECM,tie rod,wheel bearing,rust ect.The car looked great though and interior was comfy inless ur in the back.This car was pretty expensive on insurance but gas mileae was great at about 27mpg.Fun car when it wasnt letting me down all the time Aug 05, 2010

It's the fastest car I've owned, even just standing there! It corners flatly and predictably, and can throw the rear around if you want. I haven't used the brakes enough to know them ;) The old paint needs to be done again, but everything is nice and tight in the body (that's what she said). I love the way it looks! Gas mileage? I probably get 16 to 20, but I drive it hard. Maintenance is fairly cheap, but I hear they break alot. Well, mine isn't all the way fixed yet, soo I can't vouch for that. Performance - acceleration slow, braking great, handling awesome
Build Quality - has it needed repairs? has 215,000 miles on it and 1 timebelt and 2 clutches and a water pump
Appearance - i love the way it looks

Handles like it's on rails and runs 14's in the quarter mile from the factory. 20+mpg, and parts are cheap to replace. The car is very fun to drive, but not a good daily driver. It's a great car to start working on because it's very simple.Oct 07, 2009

they came awd and turbo, only bad part is low ass compression ratio...but it still is a 4g63 and with a higher compression ration and bigger turbo its beast.and the only reason why dsms dont turn as tight as a evo is because of their power stearing rack.Oct 04, 2009

Performance - it only has the 1.8L but it's still quite quick. Handling is awesome. Very comfortable, to drive, feels like you'r sitting in a jet! the dash and all the accessories are in your face!!!! great condition, very sexy car. Will have new skin this summer, a nice midnight black with a lot of clear coats! It just might get a 4G63T 2.0L turbo....thinking about it....don't want to have to change the head gasket every 2 months! hahApr 06, 2009

The turbo starts to spool at an amazingly low 1500 rpm! It is an amazingly quick car for a turbo. Braking could be upgraded but not bad for stock. If you keep your foot out of the go-go pedal, it gets between 20 and 24 mpg. The styling on this car is unique, from the spoiler to the bubble on the hood. This car is super fun to drive!Sep 14, 2008

Aside from her dent ( thank you drunken friend for falling on my car) , Shes in mint condition body wise.. She doesnt run do to a scuffed piston and block.. so plans for her are on hiatus due to a lack of wanting to do anything with her at this time.Sep 08, 2008

Performance was amazing when it ran. Turbo was a blast. You feel like you're sitting on the ground practically. It's my favorite car that I've ever owned only it sometimes didn't start. Never would have passed emissions testing. When this car was good, it was very very good. When it was bad, it sat in my driveway.Jul 28, 2008

This car is really fast and handles perfectly. Its suspension is really tight so you can corner going really fast. Tops out around 210 km/h and geared to get there pretty quickly. Light wieght low centre of gravity. Not the best car for winter tho cuz the body is american and rusts fairly quickly. May 30, 2008

6bolt conversion, EVOIII 16G, 255lph walborough fp, 550cc injectors, BustaBC MBC, stock smic, L&R 5spd trans, 4button AFC, momo short-throw, yadda yadda. Rebuilt the engine 1mo after purchase, the 7bolt crank walked. Rebuilt trans at same time. Rebuilt bottom end 1mo later ... oil pump seized. Never raced 'er, but sure had fun doing AWD launches and donuts in the snow. I miss turbo. Owning a (turbo) talon is a love/hate relationship. I think I'll still buy another one, when I'm rich and have the time and money they truly need.May 20, 2008

Needs a new engine; how hard would it be to replace?
My '93 Eagle Talon ES (2.0 L 4cylinder non turbo engine FWD- manual) broke down on the side of the road and the repair shop told me I needed a whole new engine and they wanted I charge me $2800 for the new engine and $1500 for labor. I know I could get an engine for half that price elsewhere and I found a place that rents out engine hoists cheap so I was hoping I could maybe have my dad do it himself. But my dad says he can't because heard a rumor that replacing the engine is supposedly not something we could do ourselves because it has to be dropped out the bottom of the car?? I've tried to look it up but all I can find related to the Turbo AWD engine.
