The 1995 Eagle Talon came as either a base model, the ESi, or a sportier, more-versatile model called the TSi. The ESi came with a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter engine, while the TSi had a 2.0-liter along with a new T25 turbo supplied by Garret. The new T25 replaced the 14b turbo that was equipped on all earlier TSi models.
Not only did the new TSi come in a front-wheel-drive version, but it was also sold as an all-wheel-drive vehicle as well. The 0-60 mph times for the TSi came in at an impressive 6.3 seconds for the manual and 6.5 seconds for the automatic.
The new Eagle Talon shares its looks, as well as its engine choices, with the Mitsubishi Eclipse of its year.

Performance - Above average acceleration, quality suspension, ample braking. Build Quality - Very high maintenance, parts are very expensive and repair jobs can be difficult to do yourself. Appearance - The eagle talon and mits eclipse are a one of a kind styling. Cost of Ownership - Expensive to maintain, above average gas mileage Fun Factor - 12 out of 10
Great for a race car, or weekend car. Not so great for an every day reliable car. 99 eclipse conversion, fully built, 60-1 turbo, around 400 hp. 6,000 miles, 123k on body, over 12 grand in parts. Parts to come soon ( subs, blue led interior lights, back seat reupholstered, carbon fiber hood, AC S7 gauges, new black jdm headlights & black altezza tail lights.
I've wanted this car since my dad brought home a brochure with the black TSI Talon on the front! When it was bought 5 years ago with 130,000 miles it ran smooth. I had to learn how to drive a stick just to own it but I figured it was excellent practice for when I buy a Ferrari Testarosa. Throughout the years I've had to fix a few problems with a leaking head gasket, radiator, water pump, and the catalytic converter... all normal things that should go with a car that's 13 years old. And he still purrs like a kitten, sometimes so quiet I get nervous. Now it has over 180,000 miles and I'd still sell my first born to keep it running!
