amazing for performance only. no practicality. just go fast. would b good for snow if you keep the stock hp and torque, the most powerful 4 cylinder engine built, mitsu 4g63 can run 1000+ hp on bolt on parts. they have some issues but after a few mods they are great, parts are hard to find, love the interior it is more aimed for the driver than anyone else, so much fun to drive, wouldnt trade it for anything except gtr skyline and a supra.Feb 08, 2012

When this car is maintained properly as I did, it can be extremely long-lived. Provides great cockpit controls and utilizes it's power well. I had an AWD version of this same car... a 1992 version that was stolen. All in all, this FWD version is not all that different except for the instantaneous feel of grip with the AWD of course. But saving $1500 on the FWD version for me was not a huge downgrade. Just all around a cool ride.Jan 20, 2012

Its sad that the leather in my Talon is still nicer than the leather in my Cobalt.. wow Chevy, just... wow. Sad.
I can't really say much about this car anymore.. lasted just over 100k and the valve stem seals started leaking oil past(all that spirited driving you know), it was burning about 2 quarts of oil per gas tank. Just rebuilt it a week ago, so far its running good, not boosting just yet. We'll see....
It had enough power before to tow 2 4wheelers up Casper Mt though, not many 4 cylinder cars can do that =)Aug 23, 2009

I definitely miss this car. Small, light, and maneuverable as all hell the car was able to fit into tight spaces with no problem. Sitting only 42 inches off of the ground, it handled beautifully for it's age. The body looked like hell, and that was being repaired, the interior was in tatters when I bought it but soon replaced by a '94 TSI interior. The potential for serious engine work (or total replacement) was present with a slow 94HP engine. Sadly the transmission died on me and I was broke and sold the car to a scrap yard. Interestingly enough this VIN now resides in So. Cal. with a person who restores and collects generation 1 and 2 eclipse/talon/lasers.Aug 05, 2009

Love the awd turbo. this car is an extremely great performer, very fast, great acceleration, im not getting super great gas milage (i like hitting the boost) so of course i wouldn't be, other than that this car has been amazingMar 23, 2009

This car was absolutely horrible. Way beyond horrible. It leaked so much oil that it finally got to the point where I was losing a quart of oil per day. The car rattled so much that I though the door panels would fall off. The sunroof/moonroof thing leaked and the door seals wouldn't make good seals, which caused more leaking.Dec 22, 2008

The main issue is being front wheel drive and losing some oversteer. The throttle is pretty responsive for a 1994 and the seats are awesome for real driving. My gas mileage sucks but that's due to things that have been done to it.Feb 21, 2008

Bought a turbo for my 1994 Eagle Talon Tsi Turbo. It is front wheel drive with an automatic transmission. Was contacted by my mechanic and advised it was not the right turbo. Called seller who advised the automatic transmissionTalon had a different Turbo then the stick shift. What turbo am I looking for? Where can I get it?
