1995 Ford Ranger Reviews, Pricing & Specs

It is a 20 year truck that just keeps on going. It takes a beating and keeps on ticking. I don't know why Ford Motor Company chose to discontinue this vehicle. I think it was a major mistake. Would buy another one.

Great truck to drive. Lasts a long time with little need for repair. The manual is a lot of fun and the clutch is really nice. You may want to install new speakers and radio because the stock ones are not the greatest.

Great city truck. A little short on power, with the 4 cyl. but gets great gas millage and will get the job done! We (my son and I) just replaced the front brake pads at 99350 miles, now that is getting your moneys worth.

I bought this truck brand new. It has NEVER given me a problem and have never had anything major go wrong with it. The AC stopped working on it after I let it sit for about 2 years when I was away. But it started right up after charging it up. It's a great little truck for the money. A little tight to get in and out of the extended cab with the two door model. The 96 has the auxilary door which may have provided a little better access.

I've got the 2.3 L engine, it gets great mileage and decent power to. I have hauled a small trailer several times with it and it does alright for a 4 cyl. I have almost 200k in my Ranger and it is still running strong.. I highly recommend Rangers, this is my second one (first one had 229k on it when I sold it and was still running strong).

There isn't really anything I don't like about my ranger. I do wish is was 4wd with the 6 cylinder, but other than that it's a good ride and it goes forever on a tank of gas. Oh and its a little slow for me but what can i say it's a 4 cylinder it wasn't meant to go fast.

Just our little 'work' truck. Take trash, haul what we need (landscaping work around the house). And I use it to drive to work to keep the miles off the others. I like the Ranger, and will probably keep it until dies.

I bought this one because I needed to haul all my crap cross-country. It happens to have 365000 miles on it. The biggest surprise for me has been that its still running! I've got more invested in the parts now than the whole is worth.

The 4x4 was perfect for offroading and i got amazing gas mileage on the highway. the engine was very sporty and could climb hills with ease. i never got stuck anywhere in this truck. the interior was a grey and black with an amazing sound system and the red exterior was perfect with blue and silver pinstriping.
