Bad Tranny — Decent car that holds its own. Recieved it at 175,000 miles and ran it up to 196,000+ miles before I was rearended. Most of the problem was oil leaked from almost everywhere it could on the engine. Leaking oil seemed to seal everything off though. No good for driving in winter, but wide tires and and low stance gives it surprising handling. Transmission wined, leaked oil, and had bad rust around the lock on the trunk. Good times can be had though.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Wide stanec and low profile for a sedan

Cons: Tranny

It Was Fun — great first car 150,000 miles all original parts. got a ticket in it for squealing the tires, in a front wheel drive vehicle. needed to replace 1 tie rod end but could have drove it without the change, great car

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: reliabel

Cons: age

"mechanics Car" — Nice looking car, Average build quality, aggressive 3.3l V6 engine, kinda sad though that it's coupled with an automatic 4-speed gearbox.. It doesn't too much too fuel, around 21-22 mpg? (~10 L/100km), and yes, it's a fun car..

Pros: lots of torque, nice engine sound, nice bass, etc.

Cons: that it's FWD, bad brakes, bad headlights ( when driving during night )

Dodge Intrepid — It is a good car. It acceleration is good and braking is good if you have good brakes or renew them. It handles pretty well. It needed repairs only because the parts were getting old or I broke them >_>. I love teh appearance, sure it is not as nice as a Mustang or a Corvette, but for a cheaper car it is pretty nice looking. I actually prefer the older to the newer because it actually is more unique and not a bubble like most newer cars look like now. It has low mileage for its age. i got it with about 100 thousand miles and now it is 102. It is fun to drive because I love my car!

Pros: About everything

Cons: Cannot think of anything

Nice Car But Not So Reliable — Nice looking car and fun to drive but the transmisions on the 3.3 L cars are junk. The interior is nice but ours was basic but i liked the standard white face guages.

Pros: Lots of go(when the tranny is working), Nice interior, average gas mileage

Cons: Junk trannys, cheap build quality

The Best Looking Car From 1995 — A great first car. 4 speed automatic with power windows, locks, steering, ABS, and traction control. A very easy car to work on, and great for learning the ins and outs of performing proper maintenence on a car.

Pros: Great handling, Acceleration, Torque

Cons: Frequent maintenence required on critical parts. (Tie rods, brakes, etc...)

Intrepid= Fearless — i got it from my uncle because he got a new car. when i got it there were a couple of messed up things like steering braking and air conditioning. Car was never really fixed and that led to other problems and finally it died on me.

Pros: strong engine very roomy.

Cons: stuff that needs a fixing

Kryss3 says:
Loved this car. She always started up, even during North Dakota winters. This car had a huge trunk and lots of room, especially for a car. Sold it because a car accident caused damage to the engine. But, she still ran. My uncle is a mechanic and was amazed she was running due to the damage. Intrepids are extremely hardy cars. You see plenty of this time exact model on the roads today.

"Tough choice. It’s more of a preference. Nothing wrong with the Nissan, but it was just different from what I’m used to. "
Value Ranked 2018 Nissan Murano worse.
"I know that this car is still running great on the roads today, over 20 years later. The parts are cheap and usually easy to install. It’s much cheaper with much less luxuries, but the Intrepid has held up against time, hard use, car accidents, and drives smoothly for a car made in the 90s. The Nissan simply hasn’t had enough time/wear and tear to fairly compare. Both makes are usually very hardy cars. "
