The 1993 Toyota Celica did not see many changes from the previous year. Anti-lock brakes were now standard on the All-Trac, and offered as an option on the convertible for the first time.
The 1993 Toyota Celica was available in a variety of body styles and trim levels. The coupe was available as the ST, with a 1.6-liter, 103-horsepower engine; or the GT or GT-S, both of which had a 2.2-liter, 130-horsepower engine. The hatchback came as a GT or GT-S, and the convertible as a GT. The high-end model, the all-wheel-drive All-Trac, came with a 2.0-liter engine sporting 200 horsepower.
The 1993 Toyota Celica is beloved for its Toyota reliability and reputation in a sports car package. Owners say the car is easy to handle even at high speeds, and even more than ten years later it styling still turns heads. Drivers complain that the backseat is too small for most passengers, and it rides too low to be much good in the snow.

Performance was quite good, handling was very sharpe especially with 4 wheel steering. Build quality was also good throughout. As the name suggests it was sleek, and stylish, interior was plasticy however! Used quite alot of fuel though, and fixing some Jap. only bits was very expensive! Dislike the engine loudness and vibrations but love the how small it is and the great gas mileage. Maintenance is relatively low and parts are cheap and easy to find. This car is fun to drive around the city and country.Mar 05, 2010

This car was solid, reliable, and good-looking for it's age. I owned two, a green one and a white one. Both were fantastic. They still got me compliments, and although they are heavier cars and not that quick, they have enough get up and go to keep the average driver satisfied.Nov 24, 2008

Wonderful and easy to drive, about town and on the open road. You really feel like you are driving!
Good acceleration, fantastic handling.
Not too expensive to run, Insurance good and not as bad on fuel as I thought it would be.
The interior is basic and I would love to spruce it up a bit. The exterior is beautiful and sexy, takes my breath away.

The car is generally a good car. An excellent beginner's car, as this car was my first. Aerodynamically stable, it cuts right through the air like a knife. Very good on gas, I filled it with $45 when gas was $3.59 a gallon. Can be a great daily driver, but if you are looking for performance bad car to choose.Aug 20, 2008

Awesome perfomer all round, great acceleration on 15 psi boost. Grips all the way. Retro pop up lights, gorgeous styling. Only problems i have is fuelling the thirsty beast, and spares are a bit expensive. Best fun you can have for the moneyJul 02, 2008

overall great car, good looking, and decent power, built to last, very few problems and great with safety, however it is only a four seater two door and has very little space inside. i would recommend this car to anyone wishing to build a quick little car but in order to do so an entirely new engine would be preferred. engines for this car are not typically hard to find and the 3s-gte motor fits into the mounts from the factory.Jun 25, 2008

I originally got this car for my daughter, but since she didn't want to drive a manual transmission, I kepted it for myself. I've got 154K miles on it and it runs great. I'm getting 34 MPG and it fun to drive. It does need a new paint job. The top is getting rough. Everything works well and no problems so far.Sep 13, 2007
