My first car, didn't run, have done all the work to the car myself and with the help of family. really enjoy this car and hopefully will never get rid of it. Great little car that will fit in parking space some others won't.Sep 07, 2011

The Ford Probe that I owned had really good acceleration! My favorite car that I've owned! The car was very fun to drive. Made me feel like a man! lol Overall, I would definitely recommend this car to anyone who is looking for a sporty car.Dec 21, 2008

I love my car. Always have always will. I ve been drivin this car for abour 3 years now and am still liking it more and more everyday. She has great acceleration, even before any modifications, and decent handling. She may look interesting to some people, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I think shes gorgeous.Nov 06, 2008

How far can a 5-speed Probe go (number of miles)?
I am considering the purchase of a 1992 5-speed Probe GL that already has about 120,000 miles on it; I was wondering how many more miles I might be able to expect--both the average and the maximum possible for this model. I do not know how well the mechanics have been maintained--the Carfax report has no maintenance records, and the condition of the paint and the interior is not very impressive, but when I drove it the engine, clutch, and transmission all seemed to be in good shape. (On the other hand, the parking brake is totally shot.)

I hit a large pothole really hard with the back passenger tire and my car just died. I have asked a couple of mechanics and they tell me it is probably the inertia switch. I need to locate it.
