1992 was the last year for the Dodge Monaco, so not many changes were made to the base version Monaco LE. The 3.0-liter, 150-hp V6 engine and 4-speed automatic still powered the full-size sedan, with room for five and a spacious trunk. No new standard features were added to the 1992 LE, which offered power steering and brakes, rear defroster, tinted glass, and a center and overhead console. Air conditioning is not standard, but an offered option. Other options include a roof rack, tilt steering wheel, power windows and locks, cruise control, power mirrors and ABS brakes. At 18/26 mpg, the gas mileage wasn't great, but adequate enough for a full-size car.
The 1992 Monaco LE gets below average expert ratings, but is rated much better by owners who love the engine power, handling, and comfortable seats and legroom inside. Most headaches for owners seem to stem from expensive mechanical and electrical repairs.

For its last year on the market, the 1992 Dodge Monaco ES made no changes to its comfortable four-door family sedan. It was powered by a 3.0-liter, 150-hp V6 engine and 4-speed automatic, which gave the full-size car a surprising amount of zip and power. Standard features in addition to what was already available on the LE include a touring suspension, leather steering wheel trim, air conditioning, and automatic climate control.
In addition to options such as cruise control, power windows and locks, roof rack, ABS, and power driver's seat, the 1992 Monaco ES offered a trip computer, leather seats, and keyless and lighted entry. Drivers find the Monaco ES a pleasure to drive -- comfortable, quiet, and smooth on the road. It is a practical family car with a nice exterior look. A poor repair record is the major complaint.
