owned this base mn12 t-bird for one year. very good car as a daily driver, low maintenance costs and very good gas mileage. the ford 3.8 v6 sucks thou. traded this for '96 tbird with 4.6 v8. with v8 or sc it would be a lot greaterFeb 21, 2013

This was my first ever car givin to me by my grandmother, which is funny because it was the definition of granny car. I had fun with it it was very slow and big and heavy. The handling was terrible rwd with a v8 but no sports car suspension here. the interior was nice this model was loaded leather seats moon roof etc. that was the best part of the vehicle.Dec 16, 2011

Was a $400 beater car with 191k mi to begin with. Had plenty of power with the 5.0 HO under the hood and was very fun to drive. Car did not like icy roads but handled great in the snow for a rear wheel drive car. I thought it was a great looking car. Car needed frequent repairs due to age and mileage, but would love to find another one with the same engine but less miles on it. Feb 01, 2011

My Thunderbird is solid, strong, sassy and speedy. Although it has a V8 5.0 engine, its easy on gas. It is a fun car to drive. So far the cost has been mnimal. Its a very nice and looks up to date. May 06, 2010

My car is very reliable. Its performance is great now that we discovered the problem with the fuel pump. It appearance is awesome looking, even though it needs a paint job. My car is fun to drive. It was very cheap also.Jan 20, 2010

This car runs great but just lacks and needs constant repairs. I'm sure new it was a great car but as of now it just isn't worth the pain, between me and my mother we have sunk almost twice what I pair for the car into fixing it. It however has a very reliable motor, I had to replace the power steering pump and pulley wheel a while back due to a massive leak in the rack and pinion. Look out for this car and always make sure your fuses are new, have it checked for leaks and have the rack and pinion looked at before you even think about buying it. It is a great car to have and it will get you around but over all most people just want to much and you might end up putting just as much if not more into it then you paid.Oct 21, 2009

i love the cars feel and the whine of my supercharger especially when people pull up beside it and find out its not just a "3.8L supercharged OHV V6" but a 4.6L DOHC supercharged V8 that i swapped in there as a added bonus to people who diss on fordsOct 02, 2009

More than enough power, Bulletproof drivetrain, very underrated, attention getter, dont see too many on the road, cheap to fix, very good quality from a car as old as i am, true sleeper, easy to modify, can be thrown into corners, very little understeer, handles the road well, an all around fun to drive carDec 01, 2008

Never thought I would Own a Ford: Bought as a backup car, still runs good and has power for a 17 yr old V8 powered car with almost 200,000 mi on it, typical older Ford: burns and leaks oil, other minor issuer rides decent, for a bigger 2dr car it is fun to drive. good styling, looks better since i covered/changed rusty body panels. Best $300 I ever spent for a carNov 30, 2008

This car is smooth and had a powerful 3.8l V6 engine. I liked the interior design. Acceleration was good despite the years it had been driving (and the mileage of the model). I drove this car from Texas to Florida, from Florida to Illionois (Chicago) and back to Florida. On the way back something broke inside. Don't know what it was. Fun nonetheless.Sep 26, 2008

quality is very nice. the car has more power options than some new cars i see today. it runs like a beast, nuff said. it is a tad bit thirsty when it comes to the gas... kinda sucks. over all the car is very fun to drive. it has acceleration when you want it but is also good for just cruisin in.Aug 28, 2008
