Lovely And Iconic — I have had this car since 1998, as the second owner. I will never sell it. I did remove all badging, and improved some minor design details, most you will never notice. But, it is the prettiest one out there, as far as I am concerned.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Iconic, beautiful, fun with the top down, reliable, excellent Alpina wheels.

Cons: Wish it had a touch more power.

Dream Classic — I have owned several BMW's including several E30's. This by far is my favorite style and one that will always be a classic. The lines of this series will never go out of style. Parts are reasonable and repairs are much simpler than today's modern cars. E30's are easy to drive which gives plenty of feedback from the road. Handling is fantastic and there is ample front leg room even for two tall adults. The visual field is excellent with little or no blind spots. Can easily be upgraded and wheels and tires can go to size 17 w/o spacers. The exhaust tone is natural and true.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Handling, performance, ride, true feel of the road, great visuals, great design that will not fade

Cons: A little tight for room if you have 4 people over 6 foot tall

It's A Great Car — The acceleration is fair when going from a stop but it's actually very impressive when using kick down while rolling ! The car needed a lot of repairs mainly because of me. As far as appearances goes this car is one of the best looking but the interior is poor. Fun Factor ? MAN THIS CAR WAS MADE TO HAVE FUN :)

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: The handling, the agility & the weight distribution.

Cons: Nothing it's absolutely fantastic !

There Is No Bottom Line.. — Pretty peppy for an automatic..lol Handles like a dream, brakes on a dime, built well; fixed everything. no rattles or squeaks and the exterior and interior is in excellent condition. Full black leather interior in sport version with heated fully adjustable seats. FUN FACTOR IS OFF THE SCALE IF YOU KNOW HOW to DRIVE IT!!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: because it's AWESOMELY FUN TO DRIVE!

Cons: no reason..if you're not handy at fixing them then they can be pricey to fix

Simply Perfect! — Simply the perfect car. Worlds prettiest styling, the mtech2 set really does make a difference in appearance! It handles perfect, the E30 is one of the most perfect handling cars ever made. And yea, it is fun to drive! Everyone turns heads for it..

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The sound and appearance

Cons: Nothing...

The Bottom Line For This Car Is, Bmw Can Make Even A Diesel Fun To Drive — Family saloon that scares pedestrians and makes old comunist granddads jealous big time because they never owned it and never will. Cheaper to run than ANY of the VW and audis, and its not because its cheap to run, which it is, its because it doesnt break down. It looks great, it drives great and it is something that neither Skoda nor Kia or other plastic stupid dull cars made by farmers of melted down toilet seats is. Its fun and yet relaxing to drive.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Old but 100 times better than modern saloons that cost ten times more.

Cons: none

A Great Daily Driver — while it is not a fast car, it is a great daily driver. it has plenty of room for 4, still pretty good room for 5, great gas mileage for a 6 cylinder. i have had it for a few months and have only had to do minor maintenance on it, such as an oil change and bleeding the coolant.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: comfortable, roomy, nice quiet ride

Cons: It is not a fast car

Theres No Reason Why You Shouldn't Own One. — This baby is my daily driver, and a damn fun one at that! Absolutely phenomenal handling ability, being only 1100kg, RWD and having a close-to- 50:50 split for weigh distribution, it really is fantastic Fuel consumption is low too but that is expected of a twin-cam 1.8 4-cylinder - If I'm honest I wish the fuel consumption were a little better but then again I do rev the engine out a lot so I am being a bit unrealistic. Performance in a straight line is not amazing but it definitely feels brisk, the engine absolutely loves to rev and this along with the car's nimble handling makes the car addictive to drive. The powerchip helped a lot in the car's performance - pulls stronger. I do a lot of maintenance work on the car myself too and it is very simple to work on. Parts for this car are cheap and the engine responds well to basic modifications such as chip, exhaust and intake. If I were to complain, its that the engine is more fragile than the M10 powered 318i I used to have before this - I therefore change the oil very regularly, about every 4-5000km. Overall though, amazing car for the age, price and spec.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Cheap, small, light, RWD, will out-handle almost anything and engine LOVES to rev!!!

Cons: Not fast in a straight line, engine is sensitive to maintenance.

E30 — Track car, set up for the corners, dominates. Completely stripped, fully track prepped. As far as a street car goes in stock trim its great for getting around. In track set up its terrible on the bumps, but loves corners

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: driving on tracks and hitting apex's

Cons: nothing

E30 Bmw 316i — The best car i ever owned,So much fun to drive and good mpg .Cheap insurance and good fun.not the fastest bmw in the world but it makes up for that in the wet. Great all round first car.look out for a 318is if you are considering buying an e30.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: fun to drive

Cons: slow
