1989 Ford Thunderbird Sc — The car is comfortable to drive and fun. Brakes work great but expensive to fix. However, it is an easy car to work on. I still had trouble finding parts for this car. Still looking for the cruise control cut off switch. This body style brings lots of compliments.

Pros: The front seats adjust around the waist. The shifter is reached comfortably. Super Charge is fun to drive. Car looks amazing.

Cons: ABS ABS ABS.... If you know this car the ABS is expensive and hard to diagnose. Parts are hard to find.

Very Comfortable Car — If I had that car from new on...I probably still had it... Bought it used and it had some fender benders before, maybe that's why I got so much trouble with it. It was fully loaded with digital instruments and blue leather, had a really good time with it for 10 years!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: looks, comfortable quite ride

Cons: too many repairs...ABS brakes were broken, alternator 3 times...lot of oil leaking, probably from constant overfilling through all these quicky lubes. Learnt my lesson - change my oil myself!

89 Tbird — great car, moves when I need it to and drives like it doesnt need me. lol Looks great, bough from original owner, no body damage, paint is in excellent condition. Its great to drive, easy and responsive, smooth ride. was worth buying for $900. bucks! I got a great deal.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: one owner, and bought with 68775 miles on it, car is in xcellent body shape

Cons: needs a tune up and possibly a new radiator

I Would Gladly Buy Another One If I Could Find One Like My Old One. — This was my favorite car that ive owned. it was fast and just fun to drive all the time. its only downfall was that it sat for so long before i bought it that it had a lot of small problems. and it was a very heavy car

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: fast and supercharged

Cons: parts for the sc are hard to find

Awesome — I have an 89 Tbird Super Coupe. Super fast, super clean, hard to work on the engine, must use premium grade gasoline, 23mpg, 5 speed, electronic options tend to wear out fast in these cars, electronic control shocks (like the corvette), every option available, sunroof, 153,000 miles, SUPER FUN TO DRIVE

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Supercharged V6

Cons: Money Pit if not taken care of

1989 Motor Trend Car Of The Year. — Supercharged v6. Lots of torque(300) and no one even will notice you... This car is rust free with 57,000 miles. She is my baby.

Pros: Power, gas mileage(32 miles to the gallon highway) sleeper status.

Cons: A royal pain to work on.  A cult car, few will understand...

Thunderbirds Are Great — my car rock , and rebuild it is a great experence, and it's paid for, with many choices of thunderbird to have, v-8 or v-6 super charged V-6 power is not a problem, good gas mileage, drives smooth, and appearance is something that everyone will notice, Cost of owning one will be kinda high, but you will love the car after so many years of ownership

Pros: rides great and runs like a champ

Cons: could have better brakes system, and design of motors but other then that it a great car

Super Comfortable, But Slow As Hell — when i first got it i thought it felt powerfull, when I tried to pass someone in a minivan on the highway, i found out it wasnt 3.8L v6 with 140hp most 4 cyl can beat that

Pros: Comfortable, lots of crazy high tech gadgets, pretty torquey could burn out well

Cons: slow, heavy, ugly

Good Car Over-all. — Always keep coolant in the engine. I've replaced the engine twice beacuse it was run too hot. The 3.8 is a good strong motor, but it's very sensitive to high heat. I like the car a lot.

Pros: I like the look of it and the way it drives.

Cons: It's an older car now with some creaks and rattles.
