Ol' Bessie Buick — This car was my grandma's car, but she can no longer drive. It currently has about 31,000 miles and runs perfectly. Recently had exhaust work done and runs super smooth and quiet. A new starter was also recently put in. It needs rear struts which I will work on this summer. The interior and exterior are super clean, and still looks like it just came off the showroom floor. All other accessories on this car are stock, and I plan to keep it that way. Trans still shifts smooth and the 3800 V6 purrs...the 3800 was one of the best engines built by GM in my opinion. This is strictly a once in a while car...I use my honda for daily driving. I'll have pics uploaded soon

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: In great shape for it's age, the 3800 V6 has some guts, extremely comfy/cushy interior, a great car for just cruisin'

Cons: Undercarriage is a little rusty, poor city MPG, hard to park

Blt — Where to begin... this particular Lesabre is a T-Type. The Lesabre T-type is the highest performing H-body built by GM. a weak tranny design couldn't handle the power of a turbo engine so the car was built N/A. The car was given all around performance upgrades from the factory: better suspension for handling and axel for acceleration.

Pros: rarity

Cons: weak OEM transmission

My First Car.... My First Heartbreak — i loved the acceleration on this car. not the most stylish, but i grew up in that car and when i got it on my 16th birthday it was love.

Pros: good acceleration. spacious.

Cons: not very aesthetically pleasing... the a/c dials are funky

The reason these cars are still in demand is the legendary reliability and surprising fuel economy of what can arguably be termed GMs last great powerplant, the 3.8L V6 engine. Mated to an equally bu... Read More
