Fun To Drive — I have had this care since 1995 and 60k miles. I should have 200k+ now, but the speedometer stopped working correctly around 179k. Good to get around in Atlanta traffic. Just make sure you play defensive driving to avoid an accident

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fast and fun!

Cons: Small

I Love Aw11s. — Underpowered in stock form, brakes well, handles great! I had a bit of problems with the EFI/ECU. Car looks great and is very stylish even being 20+years of age. Good mpg, 36 i believe, easy to work on for normal maintenance. Fun factor 9/10. I love the AW11 chassis.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Mid-engine rear wheel drive!

Cons: The EFI throubles.  ):

Best Two Seater Sports Car I've Ever Owned! — Best two seater sports car I've ever driven! Mine had the wheels off a 2001 Spyder, fantastic handling, great mileage and responsive engine! With two "trunks" and lots of cubbyholes if you are creative could haul a lot! Better than Miata and del Sol!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Handling, power, MPG, Great FUN!

Cons: perhaps quirky appearance

Closest To A Ferarri That Your Everyday Person Can Get To. — This is a go kart with a license plate. Good acceleration for motor size. Only problem (as with other japanese cars of this era) is the rust. Extremely fun to drive. Only had to replace clutch at 188,581 miles, which is amazing for a factory clutch to last that long.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Mid Engined, handles like a dream, unique styling.   Low weight and peppy motor equal decent acceleration.

Cons: Wish it had the factory supercharger, the rust that comes with owning a import of this era.

If You Only Need To Transport Two, Buy It!!! — Perfect balance of power, handling, braking, etc. Typical Toyota reliability! Replacement parts are cheap! Exterior could use some work, but when I have the ability to do the bodywork, it'll look awesome! Cheap to own! (30-40MPG) $5k will get you a top quality MR2, $1k will get you a good DD. Fun Factor is: Ultimate!!!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: performance, fuel mileage!

Cons: Only seats two.

Wish I Had Bought One In Better Condition. — Fun little car with great performance, plenty of poke. Handling reasonably good but twitchy on the road. T tops are a bugger for leaking, bodywork very tired now, spent a lot on welding for MOT last year. Fantastic retro blue velour interior. Comfortable seats. With sensible driving this car will return 36-38 mpg!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: It's like a jet fighter.

Cons: Rust buckets

Fun And Red — I got this car and it was broken and after we fixed, it now runs like a champ. The worse part of this car is some of the stupid locations of the parts. It is cheap when it comes to the pump at 30mpg. And sometime a very fun 15mpg

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Mid engine Rwd 2seater

Cons: Clueless owner

The Best Sports Car I Ever Knew — The car was great in the curves provided the driver knew what he/she was doing. I actually outran a fourth generation Camaro Z28 and a 2004 Mustang with my MR2. Not many 4 cylinder cars can do that. It will do every bit of the 150 mph proclaimed on the spedometer and then some. To top of the exceptional performance, the car gets great fuel mileage.

Pros: Gas mileage, performance, 5 speed manual, turbo, appearance at the right angle

Cons: Appearance at the wrong angle

Clean — well ive had this car since i was 15 so its lasted like three years with me and is still in good condition its okay with performance still needs some help but it handles great. i love driving through tight turns at high speed cuz it digs into the asphalt and grabs and goes. way fun to drive t top and small and kick A

Pros: looks good and runs okay

Cons: its like a girl you think you got it made then it back fires on you
