1985 Lebaron: The Money Pit — well... i dont really know how to describe this one. ive built this car from the ground up, ive spent over 6 grand to build it and over the last three years almost everything has been changed. its been converted to a 5 speed and its had a ton of turbo bolt ons put on it. ive repainted the body and replaced the top, put all new suspension parts in it, rebuilt the motor and put a 5 speed drivetrain in it, as well as a ton of misc parts like wheels and tires and the stereo. unfortunately the motor leaned out and burned a hole in the number 4 piston in july of 09 so i am currently car less again. its super fun when it runs though Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: great power, chick magnet. Cons: UNRELIABLE |

Fun, Old School Convertible! — Believe it or not, this is actually a solid little K car. Yes, this is one of the cars that the band Relient K is named after. Except this one has a little pep. Most of those cars had a 2.2L 4 banger and this one managed to get a 2.6L 4 stuffed into the engine bay. It has some power!!! But it really needs to be tuned because it seems to like gas a lot at the moment and blows black smoke when you step on it. But that is an easy adjustment. It is a straigt car, but REALLY needs a top, paint and interior work. I am excited to see where it ends up. It's just hard to restore a car when you have no money....OH! The kicker is I paid $350 for this running, driving rag top! Pros: Topless fun! "cute!" Cons: Gas guzzler...not supposed to be and it leaks oil. And the top REALLY leaks. |

My First Car — this car sucks. the only reason i had it was because it was sitting around my families farm and i fixed it up. i had it for about 2 years before the engine went. Pros: Solid built. i hit a coyote with this car and there wasn't even a scratch. Cons: no power, constant problems, the list goes on and on. |

Great All-around Future-classic Drop Top By orescad1
Lebaron's '87 to '95 classic "wedge" design is still an eye-catcher. Handling is stabile in spite of the missing metal roof structure. Low end torque is plentiful, surprising more than a few sport-s... Read More
