In 1982, Ford decided it was time to give power to the people. The 1982 Ford Mustang had many more powerful engine options than it had seen for quite some time. The 302 V8 was back, and mostly better than ever. Now known as the 5.0-liter HO (High Output) engine, it was capable of 157 horsepower.
Ford also gave us back the GT. Appropriately sporty in appearance with spoilers and a hood scoop, the GT's 3.3-liter I6 could reach about 91 horsepower.
Im sure the enterior needs a lot of work done as well but, i want to start getting the poor thing running first. It hasn't been used since probably '03 but im just guessing. Its been sitting in the garage for quite some time and im thinking about getting it back up and running. Im looking for the price range for new engine and anything else you'd think it would probably need. Thanks.
Restoring a 1983 mustang and looking for a replacement front bumper with more area below bumper line or a chin spoiler as they are called. I want to keep the original four eye look. Me have added a Cevini rear bumper cover but cannot find a manufacturer of appealing front end. LatemodelRestoration makes on but it does not look great. I see a few pics on this sight. Mm any hep is appreciated. Neil
