My 1978 Carlo - First Car — My first car. This is not a real pic of it, but mine looked much like this one. Mine was green however and needed some paint. I had the same wheels and rebuilt the car from the ground up, engine, tranny and suspension included (mechanically it was sound and hauled ass beating up on the poor good old Mustang GT 5.0 benchmarks of the day). It had the V8 with some upgrades so it was the same as an 85 Monte Carlo SS basically (but faster due to the upgrades). Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Lightweight, solid tank, good V8 power, great handling for a solid rear axle. Cons: Interior had bucket front seats. |
