ac on - no cooloing fans
2005 Chevy Monte Carlo 3.4L Same problem no fans with AC on, tested all relays, fans and wiring working as intended. Missing neg ground to control relay #1 from pcm. I need help moving forward?

The 2005 Monte Carlo saw its SS trim replaced by the LT-not to worry, though, as those wanting the SS badge could still find it in the Supercharged SS. OnStar was now standard on all vehicles.
The base engine on the LS remained a 3.4-liter, 180-horsepower V6, the LT got the 3.8-liter, 200-horsepower V6 formerly associated with the SS, and the Supercharged SS kept it s 3.8-liter, 240-horsepower V6. Mileage for the three trims was 21/32, 20/30, and 19/28 city/highway.
The LS still did not have standard side airbags, while both the LT and Supercharged SS featured them. Drivers love the power and styling of these cars, as well as the interior space which makes for larger frames.

My black 2005 super-charged monte carlo has amazing acceleration and when that super-charger kicks in it goes like a bat outta hell! hasn't needed any major repairs that i can remember... it has a leather interior with heated seats so thats always nice in the winter and a sunroof which is nice in the summer. My car is tons of fun to drive i love rippin around in it! Theres only a few things i dont like about it... its front wheel drive which im not a big fan of, its not stick (even though i cant drive stick that well i would still like it better that way), it needs premium which though means better performance costs a lot more, and finally the speakers aren't the greatest but i can easily look past that...Sep 03, 2009

Good acceleration for being the LS package with the 3.4 liter. Built very solid, some road noise. Nice factory speakers. Very sharp looking, comfortable to drive. Small back seat but for a driver it's very comfortable. It's definitely a fun car. Aug 04, 2009

I like it because it's nice it's got a spacious backseat thuogh it is only 2 doors (Which I'm starting to hate). It runs okay but can smell gas sometimes and stinks :P. it accelerates fast and brakes quick. Sometimes it does have a little rattle in it but goes away. Exterior the silver paint is nice and shiny while interior is grey and cloth which is comfortable but I have blackand blue seat covers. it currently has alittle more than 75,000 miles on it and I get anywhere from 350-400 MPG. It tells me when I am about to be low on fuel, low washer fluid, and needs oil change. has a good stereo, On Star, and Sirius radio. It's very fun and easy to have a good time in!May 08, 2009

This car gets 30 to 35 MPG,looks great and is very good on the roads. Dont know why some of the reviews say 21 to 32 MPG .The 3.4 v6 is plenty of power for my use .The styling is what makes this car so unique,,,looks like a nascar to me .Nov 23, 2008

The car is great, it really accelerates well and is good on gas. The car is just a dream. sporty and economical, it makes me wounder why people buy foreign cars. The car is very fun to drive a must have. chevy all the way and go Jeff Gordon 24

I love my car. My only complaint is that its not an SS and therefore has a smaller engine. It still accelerates quite well, but who doesn't want a bigger motor? Even though it is a larger car, it handles extremely well and gets decent gas mileage.
As for the interior...the factory stereo is crap and I've been told there is no aftermarket stereo compatible with it because all of the warning lights and chimes in the dash cluster are reset through the stereo. The speakers are decent, so I can't complain too much.Jun 15, 2008

My cluster lights are not bright. Yes I have to knob turned lol the way up. When I start the car they are bright for a second then go dark to the point to here I can’t see the speedometer, gas gauge, temp etc.....
