Tough, Dependable, Roomy, Fun — Great for long trips, room enough for kids and dogs, great for moving furniture, very dependable, not bad on gas, easy to fix, not sure if I like the lock on the gas tank though. Just a fun truck to drive. I loved my Chevy Suburban, (can't remember the year...maybe 95?), and haven't been happy with anything since, but this truck has now filled that missing void. Way better then the blazer I had! Steering takes getting used to, but you get used to it. If you just need a good solid old truck, I'd totally recommend this.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: I love this truck! I just bought this off my neighbor last year, but drove it when he had it. He's had it for years and it's been very dependable. I've been driving from NC, TN, to VA, NY, OH, IN, and pretty much Eastern US a few times now and she's fabulous. Roomy, comfortable, fun to drive, and gas mileage was a LOT worse in my Chevy Suburban! I think I get about 18mpg, which is what I got in a little red chevy corsica I had. My Chevy Suburban was like...pfffft 10mpg if I was lucky! Keep in mind I live and drive in hilly terrain. (Appalachain, Blueridge mountains)

Cons: Steering. Definitely over sensitive. Could be me cause I drove without power steering for a while. I'm short, the oil stick seems kinda far in and is a stretch for me to reach. Lock on gas tank can be a pro in a bad economy, or a con in a blizzard. I broke the plastic lever on the heater control.

1976 Chevrolet C10 Heavy Half Ton — This is my Haul anything/Tow anything truck. The truck is pretty much stock except for the Flat-bed. It has 9 leaf springs each side in the rear, It can pretty much Tow and Haul anything that I have thrown at it!!! It has a 350 (4-bolt main) with a TH-350 auto. I wanted a "TRUCK" and this is a TRUCK!!!
