1966 Ford Thunderbird Preview summaryImage

The 1966 Ford Thunderbird finally showed an improvement in its engine and therefore in performance: a 7.0-liter, 428-ci V8 rated at 345 horsepower replaced the sputtering 6.4-liter 390-ci V8 rated at 315 horses.

Ford also played with its trim line a bit, replacing the Landau with the Town Landau. The Town trims featured formal-looking roofs, creating more of a cabin for the T-bird.

It’s a pretty good deal, missing PW and A/C. With some rust on front bumper and front floor boards. But rest of car is in pretty good shapeDec 23, 2022

I love everything about this car. It drives like a dream. It glides down the road. One of only 75 built with the 428 Q code, power windows, seats and Factory Air. Immaculate condition. Under 70k miles too. Fun all the way around.Mar 30, 2014
