CarGurus' 2007 Hyundai Sonata Review

The 2007 Hyundai Sonata is Hyundai's answer to the family sedan, a popular car in the American market.  There are two engine options available, a 2.4-liter I4 with 162hp and a 3.3-liter V6 with 234hp.  Three transmissions are available., a 4 speed automatic, a 5 speed automatic, and a 5 speed manual.  Gas mileage is pretty good, 24/34 with the I4 and 20/30 with the V6.
All of the comfort features that you'd expect from a family sedan are available in the 2007 Hyundai Sonata.  Air conditioning, power windows and locks, a CD player, cruise control, and steering mounted controls all come standard on all trims.  A CD changer, power seats, heated seats, a sunroof and a trip computer are all available as well, depending on the trim.  As far as safety goes, the 2007 Hyundai Sonata comes equipped with ABS, traction control, and passenger, side and curtain airbags, all installed to keep everyone in the family safe.
There were very few consistent complaints from owners of the 2007 Hyundai Sonata.  As with all of the other Hyundais I've researched, owners loved almost everything about this vehicle.  The most common complaint was that the gas mileage wasnâÂ?Â?t up to HyundaiâÂ?Â?s estimates, but over and over, owners said things like best deal for the money.  This would be an excellent car for anyone on a tight budget who wants quality transportation.
