your best bet ... take it to a VW/Audi garage and have them take a look at it. im guessing you might have snaped a belt or lost a pulley. Do Not Run the car till some one who knows what to look for has a look at it and only take it to a VW/Audi Specialist shop to check it out. What you can do is open the engine compartment and take a look at where the serpintine belt should be. If you see empty pulleys you lost your belt. And im willing to bet your belt tension er will have been the culprit for this problem. The one on my audi had split the pulley right off which made my car do this. If this is infact the issue you have little to no cooling going back into the engine so be sure to not run this vehicle till fixxed.
