I Would Not Hesitate To Buy Another One! — Awesome little truck! Rangers are unbeaten in their quality and reliability. The Edge with the Flareside bed really pops! Sure, it's no race truck but the 3.0L moves it around with no problem. No trouble or repairs. I'm averaging 22-23 mpgs per tank. My biggest complaint is that it has a small gas tank and that I have to fill it a little more often. Primary Use: Commuting to work

The Biggest Small Turck Ever — i love my truck! i have very few cars i would like to drive besides my truck but i will never give it up for any of them. i love the hieght that it is at and how it drives. it handles great on the road whether it is flat or not, obviously it doesn't drive like a sports car but it does have some power under that hood. i have had very few major problems with the mechanics mainly things that wear out normaly like shocks and bearings. maintenance has been normal nothing more than you would have with most cars, the gas milage is not that great but it is a truck so that is expected. i love driving my truck but i love the way that trucks and big vehicles drive, if you want speed this truck isn't for you.

Amazingly Manufactured By Ford — It's a built Ford Tough Ranger and its unsurpassed fuel economy and reliability has been remarkable. It gets about 30 mpg highway and 25 city and has been a vehicle that has impressed me numerous times! Theres nothing that can beat the quality of a Ranger pickup! ProsGreat truck overall. ConsNeeds rear disc brakes

V-8 Or Turbo Diesel — I wish there would have been a V-8 option, a 4.6L would have been plenty. Or a 4cylinder turbo diesel. I would have also like to see Rear Disc Brakes on these trucks. The Explorers had both a V8 and rear disc brakes, why not the Rangers? My Ranger has been very trouble free. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Great Truck! You Can't Go Wrong With A Ranger. — the suspension is great! You can take a corner fast on pavement one second and then drive onto a dirt road the next and it's all a smooth ride. The interior is nice and doesn't feel cheap. The sound system has a nice balance with 6x9's in the doors and behind the seats. The engine has to many plastic pieces though, like the radiator, that tend to crack easy. Overall the cost to maintain my ranger isn't high. -2003 Ranger XLT 2.3L 4cyl. Primary Use: Commuting to work

Ranger — Good looking truck. It's only a 3.0 V-6 so the power ain't great but it's gets me from A to B. The gas mileage is decent for a truck. I've replaced the battery, alternator, and radiator so far lol. That's pretty understandable though because those same parts were on it since it was first made. I really wish it was a 4x4 lol.
