The Lucid Gravity was introduced in the U.S. for the 2025 model year, but sales didn't gain traction until 2026. It sits in the luxury midsize electric SUV segment and can be configured as either a two- or three-row model and in two trims—Touring and Grand Touring. Even though this segment is still emerging, there is a surprising number of competitors, including the Rivian R1S, the Cadillac Vistiq, the BMW iX, and the Volvo EX90.

What’s New for the 2027 Lucid Gravity
The Lucid Gravity is just a couple of years old, so there are no big changes for the 2027 model year but each trim includes more standard features. On the Touring, this includes an additional key fob and the standard DreamDrive 2 Premium advanced driver-assist system with hands-on driving capability. The Pro version with hands-free driving capability is available on all models. On the Grand Touring, the Comfort & Convenience and Power packages are now standard.
Design
The 2027 Lucid Gravity has a long, sleek exterior with wagon-esque proportions and minimalist finishing touches such as flush door handles and frameless windows. The Gravity has a unique staggered wheel diameter with larger rear wheels—20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear, both with a gray finish. Available wheels include 21-inch front/22-inch rear and 22-inch front/23-inch rear. The Gravity also offers a Platinum Appearance Package that adds bright chrome accents to the roofline, side sills, lower bumpers, and a nose blade.
Powertrain
The 2027 Gravity comes standard with a dual-motor setup and all-wheel drive (AWD). The Touring trim is equipped with an 89-kWh battery pack and delivers 560 horsepower and up to 337 miles of range. The Grand Touring, on the other hand, is equipped with a 123-kWh battery pack, delivering 828 hp and up to 407 miles of range. The Gravity has a built-in North American Charging Standard port (aka a Tesla charge port), and Lucid says it can add 200 miles of range via DC fast charging in less than 15 minutes. With the available towing package, the Touring can tow up to 3,500 pounds, and the Grand Touring can tow up to 6,000 pounds.

Interior
The interior of the 2027 Lucid Gravity is clean and minimal, with large screens and a notable lack of buttons or dials. Standard seating surfaces are what Lucid calls “Purluxe,” which is a leather alternative, but genuine leather seats are available in two color options for a $4,200 premium. A panoramic glass roof is standard. While a five-passenger two-row seating configuration is standard on the Gravity, a three-row option is available, which ups the passenger count to seven. The cool thing about these available seats is that they can flip down and stow in the floor to create a flat cargo area. Speaking of cargo space, the Gravity has plenty, including an 8.1-cubic-foot frunk (front trunk) and 111.9 cubic feet of cargo room in the two-row model, or 106.2 cubic feet in the three-row version.
Technology
The Lucid Gravity has many advanced features, starting with the 34-inch screen that houses the gauge cluster and the infotainment screen, plus the secondary 12.6-inch console screen that controls vehicle functions. Other standard tech features include a 10-speaker Surreal Sound system, four USB-C charging ports, a power frunk and liftgate, four-zone climate control, ambient lighting, a mobile key, and wireless phone charging. Another standout tech feature that isn't found on Tesla or Rivian electric vehicles—Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Available features include hands-free driving capability, rear-wheel steering, a three-chamber adaptive air suspension, a Surreal Sound Pro 22-speaker spatial audio system, up to three AC power outlets, a head-up display, dynamic ambient lighting, soft-close doors, and heated wipers.
