The 2026 Porsche Cayenne lineup offers three powertrain choices. The original gasoline models remain available and hybrid variants have been offered for several years. Rounding out the lineup is the Porsche Cayenne Electric, and if the numerous powertrain options weren’t enough—and there are varying levels of power from each—there are also two different body styles. The Porsche Cayenne Coupe Electric is all new for the 2026 model year, combining electric propulsion with a sporty coupe shape.

What’s New for the 2026 Porsche Cayenne Coupe Electric
The Porsche Cayenne Coupe Electric is a brand-new model for 2026. Like the standard Cayenne Electric, the Coupe Electric is offered in three flavors—a base model, an upgraded S model, and a top-of-the-line Turbo model (and no, the electric SUV does not actually have a turbocharger). Due to its more aerodynamic shape, the Coupe Electric is a bit quicker and has a slightly longer range than the traditional Cayenne Electric SUV, and it’s packed with all the latest technology Porsche has to offer.
Design
Porsche designers did their best to make the Cayenne Coupe Electric’s roofline mimic that of the iconic 911’s “flyline”. Although the sleek exterior design impinges on interior space for passengers and cargo, it also reduces aerodynamic drag and gives the SUV an overtly sporty appearance. Porsche’s data shows that around 40% of buyers in the United States choose the Cayenne Coupe’s sportier shape over the more traditional SUV’s greater practicality. The Cayenne Coupe Electric features a Porsche Active Aerodynamics system that includes cooling air flaps, an adaptive rear spoiler, and active side aeroblades that maximize performance and efficiency based on factors such as cooling, downforce, and reduced drag. An optional Lightweight Sport Package adds a carbon roof, 22-inch wheels with performance tires, carbon-fiber interior trim, and an upscale fabric interior that's lighter than leather.
Powertrain
Every version of the Porsche Cayenne Coupe Electric uses twin motors that offer all-wheel drive (AWD). In base form, the 2026 Porsche Cayenne Coupe Electric has 435 horsepower and 615 pound-feet of torque, sufficient for a 0–60 time of 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 143 mph. The Cayenne S Coupe Electric boasts 657 hp and 796 lb-ft of torque, can scoot from 0–60 in 3.5 seconds, and tops out at 155 mph. In top Cayenne Turbo Coupe Electric form, a mind-bending 1,139 hp and 1,106 lb-ft—making this the most powerful production vehicle ever from Porsche—allow it to explode to 60 in just 2.4 seconds and hit a top speed of 162 mph. All Cayenne Coupe Electric models are equipped with a 113-kWh battery pack, and while maximum range estimates have yet to be announced, Porsche says that the right kind of charger can charge the electric SUV from 10-80% in just 16 minutes. Properly equipped, the 2026 Porsche Cayenne Coupe Electric can tow up to 7,716 pounds.

Interior
The Cayenne Coupe Electric is around two inches longer than the gas Cayene and its wheelbase is more than five inches longer, so there's plenty of room for four adults and a fifth passenger can fit in the rear with an optional bench seat. There’s plenty of legroom inside, but tall passengers may find the steeply raked roofline reduces rear headroom. With the rear seat in place, the Cayenne Coupe Electric offers nearly 19 cubic feet of cargo space. With the seat folded, cargo capacity expands to 47.6 cubic feet. The German automaker is known for offering a wide spread of options, and the Cayenne Coupe Electric is offered with multiple leather interior choices in various single- and two-tone shades, and a leather-free option as part of the Lightweight Sport Package. A unique black-and-green getup is available from Porsche’s Exclusive Manufaktur arm—as is pretty much any combination imaginable if a buyer has something special in mind.
Technology
An all-new Porsche Driver Experience was developed for the Cayenne Electric and Coupe Electric. A curved OLED panel, which Porsche calls the Flow Display, sits in the center of the dashboard, and it’s joined by a 14.25-inch OLED screen in front of the driver that serves as a digital instrument cluster. A 14.9-inch display is optional for the passenger. That’s the most digital real estate ever found in a Porsche product, and if that’s not enough interior tech, a head-up display with augmented reality projects an 87-inch display onto the windshield that appears to float 30 feet in front of the vehicle. All Cayenne Coupe Electric models feature standard adaptive air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). Rear-axle steering is optional, and Turbo models feature a Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) limited-slip rear differential. Porsche Active Ride, an active suspension system, is also included on the Turbo model.
