The 2013 Buick LaCrosse was introduced in 2005, and it reinvigorated the languishing brand with its high-end styling and comfortable ride. Three years ago, the midsize sedan was revamped, and the shine has still not dulled. The model returns this year with minimal changes.
The vehicle is offered with several different “equipment groups” instead of trims: Base, Leather, Premium I, Premium II or Touring. The LaCrosse comes equipped with a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine making 182 hp and 172 lb-ft of torque coupled with eAssist, a small battery and motor that add hybrid-like performance and mileage to the regular combustible; EPA estimates give this engine a solid 25 mpg city/36 highway. The powerplant is attached to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The car is reported to have a pleasant, if not incredibly powerful, drive.
Optional for the LaCrosse, available for the Leather and standard for other equipment groups is a 3.6-liter V6 making 303 hp and 264 lb-ft of torque. That’s quite a difference you can obviously feel underfoot. The 6-speed automatic and front-wheel drive are standard, but all-wheel drive (AWD) is an option. Good news is that the IntelliLink smartphone integration system is now standard for all.
Inside is where the LaCrosse shines, especially in the top-tier versions. Spacious and comfortable, the car easily seats 5 adults. With ambient lighting, faux stitching and, in the Limited and above, leather and heated seats, you will certainly feel important, even if (or perhaps especially if) you're in the back seat.
Also optional is a futuristic Heads-Up Display (HUD) using the latest technology to project gauges at eye level for the driver—pretty cool. All these features and gadgets, however, do come at a price: The fully-loaded Platinum is going to cost you some greenbacks.
Safety-wise the car receives stellar ratings: The 2013 was a Top Safety Pick by the IIHS, as it received a Good (its highest level) in all areas. In addition to the standard safety items such as antilock brakes and stability control, available blind-spot monitoring controls, adaptive headlamps and rear side thorax bags are usually reserved for pricier European rivals.
The car is also being well-received by critics and buyers, who praise the performance and mileage of the Base, as well as the added power of the V6. The Buick LaCrosse continues to roar, catching rivals the Lincoln MKZ and the Lexus ES 350 in its headlights.

I like the car, pretty but when we got to the dealer the salesman didnt seem to know a whole lot in the car has some damage under it that we didnt know about that the picture didnt show and then dealer also said he didnt realize there was damage.but we went ahead and test drove the car anyways it road nice it look nice inside interior ring nice. But as far as the outside too many small cosmetic damage in Sylvan wasnt willing to lower the price.May 15, 2020

Very nice car with plenty of power (V6) and great looks. Rides like a dream. The interior is very comfortable and classy looking with the wood trim and blue lighting. This car is worth a look for anyone wanting a full size car with a lot of bells and whistles. The low ratings on Maint Cost, Reliability and Cargo Capacity are due to the fact I haven't owned the car long enough to experience these items.Dec 15, 2013

There was absolutely nothing i didn't like about this car, and that's a fact or you'd hear it from me. I was able to drive the Touring Edition and I'll tell you what, this is it. Scratch the Regal off your list. The prices are high, but for this cars price and compared to what you get for the price of the Regal GS, there is no comparison.
The interior which is always a consideration for me as I am 6'4" and I felt excellent in this car and did not in the Regal.
This cars interior is just beautiful and has it all, I mean everything and then some.
The Touring is the most expensive of the line, as I understood it, but you will get what you pay for.
You need to go to Buick and do a comparison of the Regal GS to the LaCrosse and you will see what I am referring to in the dollar for dollar and what you get.
I looked at the base LaCrosse, but didn't drive it, but I feel safe in saying that my previous comments would equally apply but just more affordable and without the sport features the Touring package has which by the way is something else.
Also, as a guy who modifies every car I get and have, this Lacrosse Touring edition is something I would LOVE to get my grubby little hands on.Feb 06, 2013

My 2013 buick lacrosse loses power
My 2013 buick lacrosse suddenly loses power while driving and then reconnects.. radio turns off and will restart after a few seconds. Then all temperature and radio settings are erased. sometimes the car will not start.once I stop. There will be no power at all when starting. After a minute or so it usually will start again, but randomly the radio will again blank out and restart. I have taken this to the dealer a couple of times and they say they cannot find any issues. What could be causing this?
