Saw the car and at first glance I could see it had been in a accident there for I went know further in relationship with that car. I was told that it was not in an accident and looked nice. Complete lie the lines on the car did not look straight.i did the wheel test and they were off by about 1/4 inch or so, telling me there was likely frame damage.you can never trust dealers and now Im finding out you cant trust Carfax.Feb 09, 2020

This car is excellent as a daily driver, reliable and quick. It has the looks and interior styling of a luxury car but with a sports-car twist. Once you're inside you are practically in your own world, no noise except for the radio. The only downside is if you're looking for a sports car, this is not it. Lexus did well with the styling and perhaps the IS350 would suffice, but 204hp is simply not enough for a sports car. Other than that, very nice car that makes daily commutes slightly more fun.Aug 13, 2014

This car handles very well. Its luxurious, navigation and back up camera, black inside and black outside, ice cold AC, heated and cooled seats, can barely feel bumps in the road, great sound system, looks very stylish, comfortable to ride in.Jun 25, 2013

Good acceleration, poor handling. Has quite a firm feel while driving. Good electronics and interior design. It does have a great fun factor, turning traction control off always adds that extra kick in the corners. The cost of ownership however is where the car lets you down.Feb 25, 2013

I test drove the G35, G37. Both were much harsher at shifting and accelerating.
The Lexus is silky smooth to 60. With traction off it will spin out the back tires easily.
I also test drove the 335 which I enjoyed more.... but... as I was buying and not leasing, I did not want to risk owning a bimmer. Also, at the time it was 10k more and had no back up camera. Drove the TL as well but that was the year the ugly grill came out... and it was just not the same level car.Feb 12, 2013

The navigation display seems outdated to me--had a 2008 Mercedes C300 before this and liked the navigation display (and the entire system) better. Sometimes the navigation self corrects to a ridiculous, out-of-the-way route, when my phone (correctly) tells me I can just drive straight and get there. Lexus has always taken build quality seriously. You could say that they
have sacrificed performance and style somewhat along the way. Not
anymore. With their largest motor in their smallest car, only the most
diehard will be found wanting in all performance categories. Those that
live in the territory of this price are used to regular maintenance. The
real victory is on the reliability versus and German competitor. With
having less that 2,000 made their first year, Lexus makes sure their

Great if you're single, there isn't much room in the back but its super
comfy. Sat. nav is also easy to use and intuitive. All the technology in this
car is pretty useful and I find myself actually using it rather than just
knowing you have it. Comes almost fully loaded out of the box so it

fast at times. It is not that expansive although it takes premium gas. Its

Great Car all around excellent and no complaints from me. Has given me absolutely no problems.
The IS 250 is a lot of fun to drive, but I can't help feeling that it should have a manual transmission with its V-6 engine. The automatic with paddle shifters almost makes me forget that I wish the IS 250 had a little more power. I know it's not very, um, fuel-efficient of me, but I must floor the IS 250 everywhere I go to get that goofy, speed-induced grin. Thankfully, this car gets an EPA-estimated 20/26 mpg city/highway, so I can feel less guilty when I floor it. The IS 250 also has responsive brakes and steering. As a result, the IS 250 made me happiest when it was just me and her, with no complaints of car sickness from the backseat.Sep 18, 2011

Quality is perfect. No squeaks and rattles. Almost no noise.
Handling is not so precise as BMW 3s.
City:22 mpg, Highway:35mpg.

great performance needs some boost for best speed results braking is amazing needs soem carbon ceramic brakes for better results an 8 piston front calipers an 6piston rear calipers handles great some understeer. Build quality is great! Appearence is amazing looks mean going down the road. Gas is actually great for a V8 due to the 8 speed trans. Fun as hell to drive!!!!Aug 25, 2010

The IS's dash assaults the senses with high tech wonder. My test vehicle was equipped with a $3,990 package of options that included DVD-based navigation and a Mark Levinson sound system, which is really one of the best car audio systems I've ever heard. I made a point of bringing some favorite new music on CD with me wherever I drove, just so I could revel in the sound. Still, four grand is a lot of lettuce for a car stereo and GPS.Aug 09, 2010

acceleration sucks compared to my previous mustang.. but
i'm sure it's better than those most. good details, leather,
quite, good mileage.
Funfactor? out of 5 i give it 3... kinda boring. everyones
got one.. nothing special, not powerful enough to feel like
the king of the roads. noteven the 350 has the bang for

Slow on the uptake, brakes are terrible. Toys inside are fun, like the navigation and integrated bluetooth; MP3 jack is in a terrible spot. Maintenance and upkeep are expensive. Wish I would have bought another BMW. Will be getting rid of it soon...Oct 15, 2009

Needs more power, a lower center of gravity, bigger wheels, and more room in the back seats!!! The stock tires wear too quickly, maintenance is costly, Lexus needs to add an Ipod intergration into the stock radio and gas milage is about average. Overall, I should have bought an Audi. Jun 17, 2009

Oh my. Lexus has done the last thing I'd expect from them. They've gone and made a car built to kick the M3's ass. And shockingly, they've succeeded. The car is fantastic. It's my everyday car with not so everyday looks and performance not to mention usability. There's quite a bit to appreciate about the car. For starters you've got 416 horsepower to smoke the rear tires. But you also have four seats so you can give your friends heart attacks while you do so. It handles nothing like a sedan, moreso like a coupe. It's responsive and eats curves for breakfast. Then there's the sound. It sounds almost identicle to the BMW M3 (E92) and let me tell you, that is a WONDERFUL sound. It's also pretty fast. Now I've driven a Veyron and it's obviously not anywhere near that level but it's impressive for it's size and weight. 0-60 was managed in 4.8 seconds. Tops out around 155 to 160, but I have yet to take it there to know for sure. I'm having the limiter removed soon so I'll be able to play around with it quite a bit. It's also Tier 1 in terms of taking it sideways. It's drift happy without sacrificing stability although I don't recommend drifting on public roads. It's a fantastic car all around and it has an intimidating look to it that's the perfect blend of aggressive and sleek. I love it very much and my friends always count on me to be the designated driver and now, I can happily say yes.Apr 29, 2009

I love the performance and sound of the engine. The engine has more torque then a M3 and when you get above 3500 rpm it really roars. The only negative on the car is ride is a little firm and on a track the power is a little high on rev band. But in everyday driving the car acts like a lexus until you hit 3500 rpm and it becomes another car.Mar 04, 2009

I have a Maxcare warranty that pays 100% for my transmission. The dealership is telling me I may still owe $100-$200, is this customary? The service advisor claims that it may be nothing but he wanted me to be prepared just in case there are taxes, etc. To me 100% is 100%!
