how to fix brake lights?
I have a 2007 Nilsson Sentra S my brake lights don't work.....all other lights work fine and I don't know what to do

Write a reviewThe 2007 Nissan Sentra gets to come out of its shell a bit and experiment. Now that the upcoming Versa will be filling the economy compact role, the Sentra becomes a little bigger and lot more high-end, offering a lot more features, but retaining its budget price, good reliability record, and fuel economy. The 2007 Sentra gets a total makeover this year and borrows most of its exterior lines from the upscale Maxima. Right now only available in base, S, and SL trims (the sportier SE-R should come out late in 2007), a new 2.0-liter, DOHC I4 engine hitting 140-hp sits under the hood. This comes standard with a 6-speed manual or optional CVT continuously variable automatic transmission, for imperceptible gear changes. The CVT is standard in the SL. Stretched in all directions, the 2007 Sentra is longer, taller, and wider, offering more overall interior room for four adults. Power locks, windows, electronic steering, air conditioning, and lots of side airbags are all standard. ABS is standard on all but the base model. A long list of options decks the Sentra out in style, offering leather seats (standard on SL), keyless entry, MP3 player, and Bluetooth capability. A new "floating shifter" juts out from the center panel. The rear seats split-fold 60/40 flat, and unique trunk compartments allow for even more storage. The 2007 Sentra still rates high for gas mileage, overall build quality, and durability. Owners also like the extra room. Some say it could use more power, as the weight of the car has increased, but they love the CVT and say the ride is generally smooth. There is some noise at high speeds, and many owners aren't fond of the chunky exterior style.

The car does has some build quality issues. Squeaks, primarily from the front clip
can be rather annoying when it's cold outside. Performance is great stock for a car
in this class, in fact it could be considered a little overpowered by some (wheelspin
abounds in the rain with no traction control... newer models have TC systems).
Handles well (typical overpowered FWD understeering behavior), but the stock

Amazing on gas i can run a full tank a week and i drive about 60 miles a day in the city alone. The problem I have is I usually hang out with friends and the car is to small more for a small family.Mar 18, 2012

interior quality like most new cheap cars isn't too great... especially hate all the
plastic that scratches easily, other than that it has plenty of space and pretty good
handling... haven't needed any types of repairs yet except for tires, gas, oil, and
brakes and i'm at 50k... wish it was a little more powerful but it gets the job done

Performance wise its not fast but it handling is good. Quality is not perfect but
pretty good, Appearance is very good, cost of ownership, gas mileage is great in
the city it gets around 25'ish and on the h.way around 36-38'ish, and maintenance

The transmission takes a little getting used to, but after a while, it's pretty interesting. The gas mileage is on average at 28 mpg. The interior looks great, and the fabric takes into consideration the changes in temperature, weather, etc.
I bought the car with 45 miles on it, and it now has just over 10,000. I am due for an oil change soon...yippee!!!Aug 05, 2008

i must say, i can't really complain about my sentra as a first car. it gets decent mileage looks pretty, and is "zippy". i wish it had a better sound system. the only thing thats annoying is the bluetooth. don't bother setting it up, the lady's voice drives you crazy and it never ever gets the number right. plus it always tries to connect to your phone if its on in the car. the keyless system is really convenient and there are a lot of different compartments to store away some snacks for the road. the brakes also work very well, just in case you aren't paying attention to the road or that pesky squirrel runs out in front of you out of nowhere. the cvt engine is also nice because you don't feel the car shifting and its very smooth.

I really like it. Although it looks small it is actually very spacious. My toddler loves that it has bluetooth. He thinks it is the coolest thing to be able to talk to the "radio" and it talk to you back. I couldn't be more satisfied.Feb 21, 2008

Interior has full sport seats. Paddle shifting when in sport mode-but it's quicker in "auto". Dash board has stander RPM, engine temp, speed gauages etc, but alos includes accelerometer and oil pressure. Keeps track of trip time, mileage, average speed and Date To Empty. Runs on 17" Allow Rims (225/45s) with 4 wheel Disk and ABS (stops on a dime-nickle for wet roads). Sound System is better than fair, but comes with Aux jack for MP3 or IPod playing. brand new Cvt tranny . whole thing is brand spanking new from exterior to interior. Highway ratios are really nice in the tranny. decent fuel milage handles like its on rails. overall a very good value for the money.Jan 23, 2008

2007 Nissan sentra grinding noise
The transmission was replaced and 15,000 miles later I start to hear a grinding noise. I take it back to the dealership who replaced it they said it was the engine mount. I replaced the engine mount and I can still hear the grinding noise. It started off making the sound only when I would start to accelerate now I am hearing it at higher speeds. Any idea's??? 2 dealerships swear it's not the tranny.

My car needs help and so do I
Okay long story short had sugar put in my tank. Dripped the tank and cleaned it out and blew out my fuel lines. Replaced my spark plugs and o rings on my injectors and also replace my mass air flow sensor. Now I'm trying to crank it and when it turns over the positive battery terminal smokes and I blew the fuse in the fuse cluster so I replaced that and it's still smoking. Someone help me please
