While it's not a full-fledged luxury car, it won't disappoint even the pickiest driver in its comfort and included amenities. The 2006 S40 boasts an impressive list of standard features that enhance both safety and comfort for driver and passengers alike. On the safety side of things, included equipment runs the gamut from side-impact protective beams to anti-submarining seats designed to hold occupants in during a crash. The design of this vehicle has been thoroughly thought out, with its patented deformation zones using an appropriate variety of steel types, to shield its riders from harm as much as possible. Every S40 comes with air conditioning, power windows, power locks, a CD player, ABS, and traction control.
